Honest question.

His tenure as Offensive Coordinator thus far has been a complete disaster. There has been regression over the course of the season at every level.

So what’s the point of waiting until the end of the season, if he’s going to get fired anyway? Do it now.

Let Ponce audition as play-caller and *try* to salvage this **** pile of a season.

Because Mario is more concerned with keeping the appearance of a nice honorable guy.

No idea. This dude is averaging 14.8 points a game against Power 5 teams where he's failed to score a single TD in 3 of the 6 games but somehow he's still employed.

While this is true, it doesn’t absolve Mario from not trying it earlier in the season. Ryan Day wasn’t on any hot seat but fired/demoted Kerry Coombs during the season last year.
 
I understand the thought of waiting until the end of the year. In this instance, it's a bad idea to wait. The fans, the alums, and the students, the city is embarrassed. Mario needs to come out, admit this hire was a mistake.... Cut the losses.... And move forward. It'll be understandable if he's fired and we lose the rest of our games.
In contrast, if Mario waits until the end of the season and the hurricane supporters, players and recruits keep getting more and more frustrated and disappointed, it just makes this worse for Mario.. The reality is Miami is going to lose both or all 3 remaining games whether you keep Gattis or not.
Fire him today!

I truly believe I can do what Gattis has done. Not saying I would do better but how much worse could I be compared to this lol
 
I dont know but if we dont score a td vs ga tech, there is a possibility we wont score a td the rest of the year. Clemson and Pitt will not be easy to score a TD on for this team. Can you imagine? Can you really imagine?

Didn’t TVD say he only threw a few passes to our WRs this summer? No wonder we suck. You have to work harder than everyone else. Joe Burrow threw 10k passes to his WRs in one summer leading up to his amazing season.

Ponce must be the loser that says “don’t overdo it, only pass a little each week” just like newbies at the gym say “only go 3 days per week for 45 minutes max”. Clueless. Fire him asap.
