Why is Deejay so big?

Man everyone bad mouthing a young man that has been a solider here. he's a bright guy and knows what he has to get done, so I'm not worried...bunch of grown men( probably fat themselves) fat shaming a guy that has been all canes. Don't be ****** fans and cannibalizes another cane.

A couple things. The thicc thing was a joke to make fun of @Paranos love for obese chicks.

1200 calories with his workout regimen would let him drop weight quickly. That came with the caveat that when he's down to 225 (I'd guess 20 pounds under where he is now), could likely get there in 3 weeks if he stuck to 1200 a day for a short duration.

I also don't want 250 pound 5'10 tailbacks unless it's all muscle and theyre cut up like Herschel was

You realize there isn't a single 19 year old who needs to eat 1200 calories, nevermind an athlete of his level. You're so far off base on this it's not even funny. Again, 1200 calories is what a middle aged woman needs to eat to lose weight. Not a 19 year old kid working out intensely for hours a day.

get a grip pal.... its ok to disagree with my post.... but if you do not believe that steroids are part of the game
at the highest levels.... you have not been paying attention to any type of sports last 10+
Just a couple years ago we were investigated for steroids

Love how every single person on here is a lifelong S&C expert in football and knows better than our entire coaching staff, training staff and nutrition program.

It's amazing how all of you guys know so much about S&C and the vast majority of you don't do it professionally at a very high level.

If this is what you actually think, you clearly know absolutely nothing about strength training.

You don't lose weight the right way dropping your caloric intake in half. You erode muscle mass while the body struggles to retain fat because you're terrifying your body into thinking you're starving.

The notion of a 1200 calorie diet for an elite athlete at 20 years old is literally one of the stupidest things I've ever heard in my entire life.

I award you no points, and may god have mercy on your soul.

Yeah he's not returning punts/kicks looking like that.

I'm sorry but that's just pathetic for him to look like that, without some injury as an excuse. He has so much potential, but it's not going to be realized if he can't keep his weight down

What do YOU look like?

Have you ever heard about a bulking/cutting regimen, that MOST professional athletes and strength trainers follow? Add the mass then drop the fat.

It's pathetic that you get to have an opinion when you're this ignorant.

The jokes are funny but you realize this is a 20 year old kid who most likely reads the boards & has been a ******* saint to us from day 1? Even if he was 400 pounds I just don’t think it’s right.

Really? Even IF he read the boards, do you think he cares about what a bunch of fat, never actually been through a strength program let alone semi-pro athlete, armchair running backs think of him?

Dude knows what he's doing way better than 99% of people on this board.

Holy sht, you guys are the biggest bunch of aholes ever. I was fcking joking about Deejay's weight, but sure enough you guys had to go and post 6 pages of S&C arguments about it. This, THIS is why we can't have nice things.

And which two of you idiots thought I was serious about bringing Swesey back?

Morons.

Rok is speaking truth. Gore and T Moss were off peak because of weight issues and the team suffered because of it. Deejay is one of my favorite players on the team. But I'd like to "less" of him

You also ask a kid to do a college S&C program for football at the age of 20 with 1200 calories, and yeah......no bueno.

Dude would pass out from low blood sugar by the second practice. With the amount of exercise he's getting relative to the muscle mass he has, DJ probably needs 3,500 calories a day to CUT.

Homeboy is over here talking about 1200 calories. Why don't we just tell him not to eat at all for the next few months?
