Just thinking about it ****es me off, we all knew in offseason the DBs were not given the attention needed and they did not invest the needed resources. But the coaches who see these guys everyday, said nah we are good to go.. What a waste..

Just hoping this team can make it in playoffs.. I think they can make some noise and we need to take the next step.

That still ****es me off as well. If we had a solid defense last year we may be the defending champions right now going for #7. Huge waste!

He's done that so far, were 18-4 the last 2 years and can compete in the trenches with any team in college football. This team has developed into a fun team, full of personalities. Can't wait to see the Toney catches, runs, passes, the Pringle cutbacks, the intensity of our DEs, the excitement on the back end epitomized by Thomas and Fitzgerald (Too bad about Scott) and, in fact, the aggressiveness of the entire defense. A lot of interesting individual stories.
Maybe it's just me but I'm savoring how the team has evolved this year (albeit against subpar competition). It may not be the best team in CFP but it has become fun watch. It has flavor.
Now...go finish 2-0...

Some asscheeks are worth watching… I’m sure someone can post a spoiler.

If they continue with the four wide sets vs condensed sets, I can live with it. Otherwise, I’m done with the Dawson experiment.

They’re better than last year’s team at least.

I mean Cam was incredible but the defense towards the end of the season was as bad as any in the 35 years or so I’ve been watching Miami. I honestly thought they should’ve just onside kicked it every time because I knew the defense wasn’t stopping anyone so at least try to give the offense an extra possession or two.

We have frustrations with the offense this year but they’re nowhere near as helpless and pathetic as last year’s defense. It’s actually a miracle what Heatherman and the portal have turned our defense into. It makes the 2016 defensive turnaround look like nothing in comparison.

I wish we were more explosive on offense and cared as much about scoring as we do time of possession but a team built like our current one is better suited for a playoff run than last year’s squad. Teams with great defense and average offenses can win championships. Nobody wins a title giving up 30 points every week.

I’ve enjoyed a lot about these last couple years with some heart ache sprinkled in. Enjoy the games as they are, games. Most players don’t care as much as fans do which is why so many players portal.
 
It’s all about money, CFB has been comprised beyond recovery.

Let them have it all , till other people’s money runs out .

College is so expensive for middle class families to afford it’s for the rich , getting a college loan and graduate with $200,000.00 bill and landing a $35K job with a mortgage and food , insurance and so on .

To every day working people college is NOT an option.

Yes it’s a shame, some good kids lose out sad
 
Definitely a less stressful watch now that there is nothing to lose. Mario needs to keep it open and never go back to that uptight BS from the first 6 games.

The Offense isn't bad because of Dawson.

Geez… We still have 2 November roads games to go, let’s talk after that.

We have a higher percentage of going to the Pop Tart Bowl then to the ACCCG or the CFP……………
