Guys. It's been about 18 hrs since kickoff. I know you're upset. I am too. But this is week 1 and we didn't really expect to make the playoff with a freshman did we? Irregardless. Outside of the obvious flaws. OLine was abysmal and I would have pulled Clive out of the game after that hit he allowed on 3rd down of the second series. But let's look ahead to the near future for a second.

Brad got thrown into a bad situation and for the most part showed some good things. He definitely needs to get his nerves together, though with how he was hit I understand. But I'm talking about being able to make routine screens where coley isn't having to catch the ball on his knees. That downfield throw to Clive was gorgeous. Again bad situation for anyone starting their first game. Yet look, who do we play next week? Idk the name but I do know it's an FCS team. Brad will be expecting a frantic pace and instead will be able to see more. The next week the speed will pick up alittle more with ark st coming in. I feel like by the Nebraska game we could have brad in his comfort zone.

The online and the OC Playcalling are each things that I believe can be worked on. It obviously couldn't get any worse for either of those aspects. It's done. Let's get to school. Lord knows coley is right there learning with Kaaya. (Not saying that's a good thing, but let's see what they can cook up)

We will lose to Nebraska, UNC, Duke, VT, FSU and probably one more. No way we win more than 7 games if the offensive playcalling doesn't do a 180. We have 1 3rd down conversion in our last two games. 1!!!!!!

Listen man I appreciate how optimistic you are and I wish I could do the same. But I just watched The U get smacked around on National Television like a bunch of *****'s and it starts with the coaching. Golden is a joke, so is Coley. Great recruiters but below average (at best) in every other category. The players are giving up....they don't trust the staff anymore. This season is probably going to get ugly. I love my canes to death and I hope i'm wrong but I just cant see anything positive coming out of this season. I will watch every game this year and cheer on my canes like I always do but I REFUSE to get emotionally invested in this team anymore...or else I might have a heart attack and i'm only 19 years old.

(((((YAWN)))))

I'm not a "deborah" downer type of a guy, but I'm sorry, if we were a team that made adjustments and learn from our mistakes, I would agree w/ you; but unfortunately, we don't have the brass nor fortitude on our coaching staff to do such. We'll win the next two games, and then we'll debunk again once the schedule becomes tough. I thought this team could win 10 games based upon the talent we have at the skilled position, but then I was painfully reminded at how inept our coaching staff is at all 3 phases...Defense, Offense, and Special Teams. Sorry to bust your thread of hope.

Nebraska will destroy Miami 55-10 on national tv.

I had us as an 8-4 9-3 team at best this year... that said, i'm very disappointed in our offensive play calling and execution. Once we lose a game I had penciled in as a W, then i'll be really upset. But Coley needs to get on the ball.

Golden's game plan consisted of "make zero mistakes and hope that they make more." I staunchly supported Golden until last night. When 80% of your pays are screens and runs, you are "giving up". We have a stellar receiving core that they did not even attempt to utilize. If Coley brings that gameplan to any of the top-20 coaches in the country, they would undoubtedly reject it. Golden embraced it. We ran the same plays 2 series in a row. They had 8-9 players in the box and Golden did nothing. They will win 7 games this year and the AD will fire both Coley and Onofrio.

This is nice. So as long as Golden continues living up to your own personal pussified fa-got expectations, everything is ok.

Holy **** you're dumb.

Im not going to predict who will beat us i just hope we never look how we have looked for the past couple seasons ever again, we are the U and this is unacceptable

You're not giving up after week 1, you're giving up after week 1 in year 4.
This. This was the 38th game under golden. If OP or anyone thinks things will be different then they are either mentally retarded or have an agenda.

This team is not an 11 win National title contender, even before yesterday's game. Call them what you want, but they're realistic expectations. As a whole I don't like the offense, but nothing has happened yet that's out of kilter.

It's too close to call on who are the bigger bunch of pussies, some of the fans on here or the coaching staff?

right on....if I see 1 more power sweep to Duke on first down again i'm gonna jump off the Empire State building. At least mix it up on first down to stop people from loading the box.

LMAO. You've lost any and all ground to argue ******. You have an agenda and it's not to see the Miami hurricanes win, it's your infatuation with golden. No one is interested in what you have to say anymore cause you're a dumb ****** that can't be honest about the state of the program. Do the world a favor and kill yourself.

You don't need to be an 11 win National title contender to avoid getting embarrassed in two straight games, and five of the last seven.

Honestly you can't say that. You don't know, nobody does. I doubt Auburn fans were sitting there with their 2-10 team or whatever it was, saying if only we got a new coach we have the talent to be undefeated next year. We really have no idea what we could be with some good coaches. I do know that we've recruited well for a number of years now, so our ceiling is a lot higher than what these coaches are getting out of the team.
