Why I hope fsu gets screwed!

IF they get in, the hope is that the QB situation keeps them at #4 and they slide Texas to #3.
Then they get MEEchigan on New Years Day.

With Texas beating Alabama, and Alabama beating Georgia, one has to go with Texas, since everything else is pretty much equal. You just can't put Alabama in over Texas, when Texas has beaten them. You can't put Georgia in over Alabama, because Alabama beat them. You can't leave out FSU FSU, because they did all they could do by winning every game. Yes, they were lucky, in many ways, but they won every game. Not just that, but to end out the year winning the ACC title with a third string QB? That's impressive. Yes, it was an ugly game, but they won. We didn't complain about our ugly win against Clemson, did we? I want FSU to make it in, and get throttled. That will hurt their recruiting more than not making it in as an undefeated team. However, that could also drive recruits away... Hmmmm...

FSU earned it. Texas beat Alabama. Michigan and Washington are absolutely in.

Why not just look at roster makeup, coaching staff, and QB and choose that way? I can’t stand having non competitive playoff games, but years ago Washington and MSU, and soon to be FSU this year, earned the right to get destroyed by the #1 seed.

They just won the ACC title game with a third stringer. Shouldn't that be an indication that they could probably win the other games as well? Listen, I know FSU has been VERY lucky, but let's not pretend other teams haven't had their faire share of luck. Alabama against Auburn, for example. A not very good Auburn team.

But why did he stink? FSU's D was on fire last night. I hate them, but they rose up and took care of business. The UL QB looked pathetic, but man, FSU was in his earhole all game long.

Texas looked too impressive yesterday, and have that win over Alabama. I just can't see keeping them out. This whole thing is a freaking mess. A mess we all knew would eventually happen. Now they will say, "See? We need to go to 8 teams!" When actually, if we only took the top two, this would be pretty much settled.

Texas is in. It’s Fsu vs Bama. 8 teams is perfect.

FSU isn't one of the best four right now with the current offensive issues. Committee clearly doesn't think FSU is good enough minus Travis. This gives the the ammo regarding expanded playoffs. Someone was getting left out and I think it was the right choice
 
To be honest I expected fsu to get in and just wanted to point in jest at the ******** we got. Sorry, but I cannot celebrate the inequity of this as it could just as easily been us. Also an injured player should not be the determining factor. Any of the teams selected could suffer losing a key player during practice for the events or early in the game. Any event that shows an unfair selection, remember that it was us in 2000 and can easily be us again.

Oh wow, did they look like a top 4 team? Not even remotely, they looked horrendous on offense. Had they looked at least competitive they would have made it

Unpopular opinion but I think FSU got screwed, and it if it was us in their position, we'd be apoplectic.. It's not that I feel bad for them or their fans, but I kind think it's bull*****t. They earned their right to get flattened by Michigan or Washington.

Agree completely. ACC commish has no cojones and got steam rolled by Sankey and the SEC. ALABAMA who barely beat Auburn (unranked) FSU got hosed. So I guess the selections are made based on the LAST GAME you played????
