Like @DMoney, I was stressed all week about this game. It was a bad spot for us. With that said, we took care of business.

Was it pretty? No.

Was Beck terrible? Yes.

Am I perplexed by our play calling at times? Yes.

But I don’t understand most of the *****ing and moaning.

I doubt Beck plays that bad again. It happens to everyone. We can blame the weather, UF’s defense, or even the WR at times for our anemic passing attack, but this was not one of his better games.

Most of his throws were off target. And between that and the early penalties, we just couldn’t get out of our own way, UF was daring us to be patient and continue to run the ball. We fell right into their trap by beginning to force the issue.

The fact we dominated them in the trenches indicates that the sky is the limit for this team. As Mario noted, we have a long ways to go. But unlike past years, our issues can be fixed. There is no doubt in my mind that we’ll get better throwing the ball as the year progresses. People just need to be patient. Beck is going to be fine. We got two weeks to get better and I trust this team to get it done. Go Canes!

Agree. Think we're too good in too many areas to keep saying one thing is gonna cost us. We're gonna have to have a complete meltdown & this team seems too focused for that. That doesn't mean we go undefeated but I expect us to win the acc & be in the playoffs regardless.

look, I think this was a trap. they lost 2 in a row and had people hurt and we didnt come with our A game in many ways yet we still beat them by more than LSU did.
 
I’m cornered about Beck after that INT. He looked timid and like UGA Beck for a while there.

We don’t have weapons that can consistently get open.

I’ll admit a large of part of tonight’s issues should be credit to a pretty good UF defense.

Still, a lot of **** needs to get worked out before Tally.

Have no clue how good there Defense is, as I have literally no respect for their schedule so far

I get that cover two all game takes away the deep stuff but there’s gotta be more room to eat underneath beyond the line of scrimmage than that. We schemed exactly the way Florida hoped we would. Poor gameplan imo
 
I think bringing Fernando home wins us the natty.

Going to bed and charging my phone now.

We beat the **** out of them with our QB playing the worst game he's going to play this year. We also gave away 4 points when our Center got the snapping yips twice just outside the red zone on our second drive. (Gotta say I don't think I've ever seen a 16 play 37 yard drive that took 8:19 off the clock ever before in football) We also had 7 points stolen from us by a moron ref. We easily could have won this game 38-7 without Beck playing any better than he did. We beat the **** of that team.

We've had an amazing start to the season. Go rest up, clean some stuff up, then destroy FSU in two weeks.

It was a game pretty late, not sure I agree with beating the **** out of them. Left tons of meat on the bone.

Being ****ed off about not covering the spread by more is definitely progress though.
 
I'm glad our passing game sputtered at this point in the season. It's a good ego check for the guys going into the bye week before going up north in 2 weeks. Self-scout, correct, and work in whatever adjustments need to be made with the extra time.
