Why haven't these two been made a priority?

Its an embarrassment of riches at the LB position. The staff has to evaluate each prospect and offer based on that. I think we need 5 LB's this cycle. If the three we have committed stick we need to more. I like Rice, Simmons and Baptiste, The Hardy kid is thicker than the other LB's we are looking at. He reminds me of Shaq a bit.
The message you send by taking 5 LBs in one class...the worst case somebody is coming as a career back up...best case we will divide the reps by 3...

Not neccesarily. If we took 5 LBS you gotta expect 1 of those to redshirt wheather it be because of injury, acedemics, slow progress. A position change is always a possibility. But if all are ready to roll wouldnt surprise me to 1/2 of them to specialize in mostly run downs/pass downs much like what happens in NFL. Its a very unique opportunity to have a FAB3/4/5 of LB's to come in this cycle and grow and dominate together.
If they are all ready to roll someone will transfer

Yeap, the guys they pass up on the depth chart.

Or they transfer because they don't up the depth chart

Yeap, the cream will rise to the top. Competition will bring out the best in everyone.

I agree 100%... Believe it or not the competition has already started...Just listening to Shaq Mike and Zach talk at Jr Day..they all know the games have begun and they cant wait until they get there to start competing

Competition breeds champions. Push each other to get better. Set the bar higher and see if the other dude can pass that bar.

Willis McGahee was sitting behind Gore in the spring of the 2002 season before Gore blew out his knee. Willis ripped off a huge season for the record books.

They gotta be hungry and ready. I explained the LB situation before to you. All 3 of them have a very good opportunity to come in and play right away if they are willing and ready.

Bryce Handy just won the Miami NFTC Linebacker MVP.

He's a Cane Legacy as his father played at the U.

Geo putting in work, I had no clue he was a legacy, I'm interested to see his times and actual weight, I think this kid has the makings to be good. I also like the fact that Columbus is really developing their kids, same way Bush over at Flanagan is doing a good job getting kids ready for college.

Dawg thats good in all but we have more than enough in this class already. Only so many spots on the field and these kids want to play....

I'm not saying that we should pursue him. He's a bit of a tweener but I was just mentioning he won the LB MVP and is a Cane Legacy.

Seen great potential in this young man from the get go, I know I'm late to the party but welcome to the U. Fans will love this kid, he is better than Emmitt Rice trust me on this one, and he also has potential to be better than Tyree Horton. Golden will determine if Uche will be great or not. If he plays him at LB he has all american potential. If he puts him at DE than he will be average, this is a kid one must know how to utilize his speed. This is a big pick and people really don't know we just got a big steal.
