With each passing hour, I am more concerned. If we win next week, I fear the worse. Talk me off the ledge.

Don't be surprised if these ******** wait until after the bowl game. If its one thing you can count on, its the incompetence of Fake James and the other admins.
 
Our AD is a retarded puppet (no power), so he can't do anything and probably doesn't understand something needs to be done.

Our President is leaving in May, this is likely a non-issue for her. I'm sure with her attitude towards athletics she would prefer to PASS on this one.

Our ADMIN (also the president) doesn't understand athletics and the economics involved. They love to micromanage and *****-up.

Only thing we can do as alumni and fans is make the situation unbearable for all involved. Voice your opinions and not just on a message board. You need to email, tweet, call and write. If you simply post on the board, you're part of the problem.
 
Randy lived till the end of regular season. If golden is around a week in to bowl prep, be concerned.

I wish our leaders understood the correlation between increased athletic success and enrollment and thus more donations and endowments. It takes money to make money as they say.
 
How they can't see that keeping him is tremendously damaging is beyond me. It is not hard to see that the man can't run a top program. Keeping him would be INSANE.

If they keep him I'm taking a season off. I did it in 2007 when they hired radio and I'll do it again in 15 bc there is no point in watching when you know it's going to be awful.
 
If they haven't contacted anyone's agent yet about the HC position the AD should be fired for incompetence.

What's writing and calling really going to do? There needs to be non stop public humiliation that gets press. Banners, billboards, petitions, not showing up to games etc. Enough is enough. It's time to go nuts.
 
I'm impatiently waiting also but like most have said, it may not happen. Even if we lost to Pitt and toilet-bowl opponent I'm not sure if they would do it.
 
ACC money bag is secure, we have transition to a basketball school. Football is below average. Donna's plan is complete. Just memories of our great pass will endure.
 
I'm all for canning Golden today.

But, somebody is buying tickets, regardless of whether they actually go to the games. If people stop buying tickets, Al will be gone. Since UM joined the commune known as the ACC, the pressure to excel on the field has disappeared. Getting the revenue split and equal bowl money even when we suck, has mostly killed any incentive to try too hard. The only real effect fans can have is to stop buying tickets. You can complain and fly banners, but if you continue to buy tickets, the administration can shrug off the complaints. They are still getting the ticket revenue.

I'm not encouraging anyone to stop buying tickets. I'm saying that if you want to put pressure on UM, that's what you have to do. Each fan makes their own decision.

They're not going to fire him. Administration is going to let Golden or demand to up-grade his staff. Huard last night said that the Virginia administration was giving Landon time Landon made changes to his staff, which hired FOUR (4) former NFL coaches within the staff the last two years.

I think this is the route this administration is going to take and it's Golden last chance.

O, UVA is giving Mike Lorndon another year? Well then I guess Golden should get one too. Thanks for the breaking news.
 
There are only a handful of people who matter. President, AD, Chair of BOT, Few boosters/board members. From all accounts the majority of these people have said nothing, which unless you are dopey that's what you'd expect. That all changes this week and next. Nobody should assume they know what's going on. They lose to Pitt, it's hard to see Golden staying at 6-6 and 3 straight losses.
