Does anyone have any clue on why our QB play has just been pure **** since Dorsey left? We constantly recruit high star guys yet they don't amount to much. We haven't produced one NFL caliber starting QB in like 30 years.. **** we haven't produced a NFL caliber backup QB in 15 years. Why are the Louisville, California,North Dakota State,North Carolina and similar smaller programs able to produce quality QBs and our best QB is Kaaya whose out the NFL in 2 years?

How many Ohio State QBs lasted in the NFL? They've had 5 star after 5 star. Most QBs don't pan out. Stephen Morris bounced around the NFL for 5 years, which I think is longer than any OSU QB since 2001.

For 2 reasons:
1) Bad Evals
2) Over commitment to the Pro Style Bro.

Old antiquated offensive systems has had our QB play subpar for a long time & overall bad Evals on the recruiting trail has yielded ****** results.

We've never had a 4,000 yard passer in a season & never had a guy throw for 30TD's or more in a season.

At other programs that's pretty routine, at Miami that would be a historic season.

crazier is that QBs who aren’t considered that good or even getting drafted out here putting them numbers up season after season.

They have had several good college QBs though.

Back in day, Top QB used to sit on bench for multiple seasons just to even have a chance then it was basically sink and swim. Mind you these corches actually used to bask in glory of having extremely complicated playbooks that were difficult for players to learn.

Meanwhile lower level coaches with one word plays with plug and play systems light up the scoreboard while we attached ourselves to bro style offense like the band to the titanic.

Rosier owns records at miami.. We dont even know what modern offense is. We joined the spread revolution when it was already declared won. LOL..

Our single season passing TD record was 29 and it happened in 1988. Its absolutely unreal that we have not had a QB throw 30 passing TDs in the history of our program. 30+TDs 3250+Yards is like a normal QB season for college QBs. Sam Howell threw 39 at UNC and he's just a true Freshman.

1.) Lack of creativity on Offense
2.) Poor OL
3.) Lack of team leadership

The talent has always been there. Our staff can’t get out of their own way.
