Why does this staff continue to over recruit the LBer position like we run a 4-4 base defensr

We currently have 10 Lbers on this roster including Patrick Joyner and Ryan Ragone. McCloud is the only senior Lber on the roster and unless Diaz tells him thanks but no thanks he can come back another year (plz God no 🙏🏽)

We currently have 4 LBers committed including Chase Smith (“Striker“ but he’s a Lber) and Thomas Davis who is most likely going to end up playing Lber as well.

Chase Smith
Tyler Johnson
Deshawn Troutman
Thomas Davis

.... and we are still recruiting Lbers like Jaydon Hood and who knows maybe even Terrence Lewis. That would be 16 LBers on this roster even minus Hood and Lewis that’s 14.

But we dont take Wilson and Francois from the transfer portal, Christian Williams leaves and now we only have 3 cbs in the rotation and only 5 on the roster??
Francois, Wilson and Corey collier are projected to be safeties in college , and we have a lot of safety’s as well and all those guys did not want to go to Miami when they had a chance .

Ive been pounding the complete idiocy of our CB situation for quite some time now and I've made it clear that Rumph needs to be fired. In terms of the LB position, Joyner will never get pt at LB and to me he is a portal candidate if there ever was one. In addition to that, Thomas Davis will never play LB here. Davis is a DE all the way. Just because the kid is 6'2" 240 lbs and not 6'5" 260 doesn't make him a tweener. Think of Davis as a more athletic and explosive version of Trent Harris.

We're over recruiting at safety. Linebacker has been under recruited. Cornerback recruiting has been a travesty. Rumph was one of my favorite Canes players but that dude is *** in coaching and recruiting.
