Besides it being morally wrong...
We're cheap and arent gonna pay that buyout until theres no other choice .
The best chance we have of golden leaving is taking a 3m + a year from a school in the big 10, a academic school trying to make a splash etc.

If he can put together a good season we can see our team have success , momentum and possibly a new coach ...alot faster.

So stop rooting against your team , theres no recruiting lottery to tank for.

I always thought it was pathetic for a "fan" to root against his team especially against a rival.
Like the so called Cane fans that kept posting "Go VaTech" or "let go Hookies" and of course there were the fans that were posting "go Noles".
 
Donna is in lame duck status and don't want to ruffle any feathers. James knows his time here is limited once the new prez gets a whiff of his estrogen level. Therefore, Al will be here next year regardless of the bowl game...

Cheering against Miami doesn't even matter at this point.

The only thing trending up is Al's and James' job status to stay here longer.
 
I never root for the Canes to lose. I never bet against them regardless of points. Just can't do it. However, I understand the level of frustration that has forced some to do so. My only option soon will be to abandon college sports completely. I have already prohibited my grandchildren from attending THE U because I refuse be responsible for one more dime getting into the hands of the administration and the control of the BOT.

Given the choice between continuing this travesty and completely shutting down my own university, I would vote close the doors, sell the land and refund the proceeds to tuition paying students of the past(except the medical students, they have been taken care of enough). Still I would never root against our Canes. Well, unless Donna and Blake were accused of some crime. Then I would be cheering outside the courthouse for their conviction and execution, I mean sentencing.

I have to admit though, it's much more bearable around here with bomb gone though.
 
not saying I do but to answer your question is because the worse we do the quicker he will be gone eventually

CIS was at its best before the mass exodus of all of the rejects from the other Cane forums. You shoulda seen it in the beginning. Legitimate football talk all around.
 
It's more morally wrong to pick up a two million dollar paycheck for producing half the time, and falling on your *** half the time.

I just regret that there are no Cartel guys who are big Miami fans.
 
I don't have to root for us to lose, Al Golden takes care of that all on his own.

I just sit back and revel in his sweaty panicked sideline demeanor and post game pressers.
 
My actions or desires have absolutely ZERO effect on what happens on the field. So what the **** do you care what I do?
