Why do we consistently **** the bed on defending 3rd down?

We can look like super stars on first and second, and regardless of whether it's 3rd and short or 3rd and forever, we play it full ******. We look like a different team on this down, regardless of the skill of the opponent. Mental block, out schemed, teams just trolling us on 1st and 2nd?

Because our QB can't hit open receivers. So the D can be free to load the box.

We can't defend on 3rd down because our QB stinks and no creativity in offensive playcalling?

Interesting.

The title says defending.... our fan base and team have all gone full ****** this weekend...

Haaa cats r so stressed trying to excuse Diaz they cant even read the titles right

We were playing a deep zone. Short slants are perfect for deep zone coverage.

That was all on Diaz.

Exactly, you have to be able to play Man on third down or you will never get off the field. We gave them everything underneath with that soft zone. I don’t know what the fear was on Diaz’s end

We're terrible on giving up 3rd down conversions but we're also better than almost everyone at not letting teams get first downs on us on 1st or 2nd down.

It's really odd.

Playing soft makes you soft. Like playing a Prevent, prevents you from winning.
