why do the negative folks bother to even post here.

How insular do you have to be, to live in the most segregated city in America, and not even know how segregation works/functions?? It's sad that living in an isolated bubble has made you indifferent to other people's pain/suffering. Try to step outside of your own little world and actually do some research so you can understand how the legacy of segregation continues to affect generations of people. The fact that you think these people can just "get up & move" shows how out of touch with reality you are.

You can't talk to me about poor people lacking virtue or their character flaws without first understanding that segregation & lack of investments in those economically distressed communities are inextricably linked. Are you really that dumb that you think those residents have access to great schools? What about the mental health crisis that persists in those communities? What if that crisis only affected the north side, would it continue to be ignored? Then you said some ridiculous **** about "There's no money to be made with poor people". Um..have you ever heard about the prison & military industrial complex?? This country has a long history of exploiting people that were marginalized, but I wouldn't expect someone like you to understand that, because you only interact with people who LOOK like you, talk like you, and share the same background as you.

I will be moving to Chicago later this yr, and like you I too will be living on the north side. The difference though..is that I actually will take the time out to visit the south side, because I realize that it has much more to offer than just crime & poverty. There are actually hardworking, productive citizens that live there, who choose to stay, because they have pride in their community. It also has unrivaled culture & history, that is worth experiencing.

No one cares about your travel plans or your views on poor people. Hopefully during your Southside visit someone will tune you up real nice so we dont have to read your drivel again.

Don't intervene in things that are beyond your IQ & reading comprehension level. If I were you Pepe..I would worry more about making sure no hombres put burritos up my *** at the local Mexican jail

Sorry, but why do you keep moving the goalposts of qualifiers? I've lived here for 20 years in Wicker Park, Bucktown, Old Town, and Lincoln Park now, but whether I moved here then or yesterday, doesn't change a lick of what I said.
I didn’t get in the debate about poor people and the lack of investment on the Southside or the Westside Or whether poor people suck. You are right about the economic stuff and an ******* about what you said about the poor. I find it completely comical that you tell me not to take pride from an area that shaped who I am when you are not actually a Chicagoan.

Apparently you have not suffered the past 15=17 years with this tawdry performance. I think most here are Canes diehards. There's a lot more to be done with one's time. They simply post their utter frustration at their bewildering team.

Perhaps they're also annoyed by "Sunshine Pumpers".
I have seen your stuff, this post wasn’t aimed at a poster like you. The word malicious was used in his original post, which means he is pointing at the **** trolls from other fan bases who post here undercover and the small segment of fans who posts who are negative not out of anger or frustration, but are actually taking pleasure in our troubles.

That's a sorry *** victim mentality ya got their bro. I lived in housing projects as a kid. We were poor and had limited opportunities. Guess what? We picked up and moved the *** out one day and its' all good. Thank God!!!!

Kudos to you for that but it still doesn't make his statement any less true

There is nothing to be positive about when it comes to Miami football. If you disagree come see me in the Yellow lot next Saturday and I'll be happy to explain this to you.

There's 2 kinds of poor people.
People that are poor
Poor people that complain about being poor

Go Canes!!!!!!

That's way too simplistic my friend. I'm sure that there's a grain of truth in there somewhere but we will never progress in our communities if we adhere exclusively to non-nuanced positions.
