Why do poster here want to hire Major Applewhite as OC but not Tee Martin?

One got fired outta desperation so the head coach could save his own ***! Yall kill me how yall hate to admit that the WHITE GUY sucked more !

Race has nothing to do with it. I don't think you understand that ANYBODY would look good with soph and Junior Sam Darnold leading the team. Then he had a 5 star early enrolee freshman with tons of weapons at his disposal and couldn't do schit. Only a fool would hire him and that is why his only coaching options are GT and Louisville.

Didn't we lose to GT?

I don't want either of'em (but would like Tee Martin as a recruiter NOT an OC).

Major Applesauce was a horrendous play caller at Texas & Briles was the only reason HTown's Offense was so explosive.

Also the race sh*t is stupid, the only ones who care about race is Miami's BOT, neither of these guys are Cuban so they got no shot of being hired here.

With that logic we might as well just higher paul johnson as our corch then. No good AD wants tee as their OC. That means a lot. I would take tons of black coaches on this team. Tee is not one of them. IDC if the guy is white, asian, latino, whatever. If he is good bring him in. Tee sucks. The man can't win schit unless he has a heisman finalist.

They both suck.

For the record I want neither.

Absolutely no thanks to Martin.

As for Applewhite, I simply cannot get over the fact he willingly hired Mark D'Onfrio to be his DC. Not sure you want to be a foxhole with someone that makes that kind of decision.

Major Applewhite was only the full offensive coordinator in the 2013 season - Mack's final year. Prior to that, he was officially the Co-Offensive Coordinator in 2011 and 2012 with Bryan Harsin being the primary play caller. The Longhorns PPG average fell from 35 in 2012 (under Harsin) to 29 in 2013, but with the qualifier that his quarterback David Ash was out for the year after Week 2. The backup at the time was Case McCoy who was serviceable, but no more than a game manager.

That said, first post here. Interesting, informative site, if not a bit feverish.
