Why do positive “fans” post on here?

Message boards have always been toxic. Otherwise I agree. CIS is still more logical than football fan Twitter, but there is more overlap than I'd like.
 
Threads like this one that OP started give me great joy in that I LMAO. My wife askes "What's so funny" and answers her own question "Another dumbass thread/post I assume".

That's my approach to these types of threads. I just sit back, read, and LMAO. True Canes won't expect the HC to be fired after a season in which he goes 12-2 as a first time HC. I usually don't give a thread like this the time of day, but the temptation for a "reasonable" response was too much to resist.

How do you not understand conversational exaggerated hyperbole to stress a point? This place is so literal. I say this in a Bill Burr voice.

Does everyone in here have functioning aspergers disease, or do you just not get how people type on the internet? "What, fire a coach at 12-2?" It's like you all have zero social skills to understand what he's actually saying.

I understood the point he was trying to make and it was still about as dumb as it gets. It speaks volumes to anyone who agrees with his take.
