Why did we waste so much time at the end of the first half?

We had something like a minute and a half or so remaining and somewhere beyond the 10. We used the entire play clock to run a play that didn’t get a first or a score, then we panicked, didn’t have enough time, looked like idiots and kicked a field goal. We basically gave ourselves one play to get a touchdown. What was Mario thinking?

He’s not talking about that he’s talking about the fact that they had enough time and enough room to even get a first down and if they manage the clock better they could’ve had a chance to get that down without the rush or score a touchdown
 
That one was on Mario. After Lofton got hurt he didn’t realize the clock would start automatically once the ball was spotted. He should know that or atleast his clock guy should have told him. They should have called timeout after Lofton got hurt.
 
10 second run off + running clock and we weren’t ready to snap it. Gotta either call a time out or be ready to snap it once the whistle blows. Can’t happen again.
