each team already had their full complement of conference games scheduled. this was an extra game because they play in different divisions but are traditional rivals. the acc should have kept all the tobacco road teams in the same division.

We do with FSU in baseball. And I’m guessing here, but I’m sure when we entered the ACC part of the deal was probably guaranteeing that we play FSU every year on a game that counts

I would actually be in favor of the ACC doing away with cross over rivals and on years we don’t play FSU as a cross over game we schedule them as a non conf game.

Unfortunately not enough teams to do away with crossovers. I do agree with your sentiment though, I want to play other Atlantic teams and then play FSU as non conference those other 6 years
