Who Would Be A Lashlee-type Candidate For DC?

I will start off by saying if baker was gonna be fired it would have happened already.

Now to answer your original question:
Marcus freeman
Charlie strong
Muschump
Kevin Steele(if auburn fires Gus)

Georgia’s linebacker coach(Schumann)-look him up. Great recruiter and linebacker coach and kids love him.

Lashlee ain't all that. 6.02ypp (41st in the nation), 8.2yppass (35th in the nation), 4.3ypc (72nd in the nation), 35ppg (25th in the nation).

Consider all of those numbers are in a pandemic year where not everyone is really playing.

In summary...idk, there are lots of guys that can provide that kind of output on defensive.

No it wouldn't. Diaz has said it countless times that he waits until the end of the season to evaluate and make changes. Enos was told he won't be retained a bit ahead of time, but even he was asked to finish the season.

Beta male energy. That ole we will let you work the rest of the week and fire you after your shift on Friday mess. What’s done eventually should be done immediately.

Only reasons lashlee getting a pass is because of how bad we were last year and how bad the defense has been this year. King has masked tons of issues on offense.

We are once again left to count the days until our HC is fired and pray we finally find the right one to bring us back. We will be average at best on offense next year and nothing will change on defense.

*That would agree to come work for Manny.

I mean, how appealing is it for a legitimate DC, established or up and coming, to come work for a defensive minded HC who's stubborn AF about his own scheme?
Give the benefit on the stubborn part till proven other wise. He made the changes needed on the O side, let’s hope he does the same on the d side.

Whilst I'm not Lashlee's biggest fan - he clearly knows what he's doing, but he's streaky as **** - look at what he has to work with.

Our best WR, according to the coaches (as evidenced by snap counts / playing time) is a 5'8" skinny guy who catches everything with his pads and runs a 4.5. Our Oline has three C starting and a 2 star OT playing LT. Our best TE can't stay healthy and our other NFL TE is ignored if the aforementioned TE IS healthy.

Richt did him dirty.

searels was too mean for our linemen, but his unit looked just fine last night
If you actually stop every second and watch the play develop, the whole night our DLine was just going past their Oline. The Oline just had to push them out of the way and block the LBs. The DLine was taking the path of least resistance.

They were getting upfield LIKE THEY ARE TRAINED.

The UNC staff prepared for it perfectly and DESTROYED already struggling linebackers. Backs hitting hole so fast there was NO WAY the safeties were going to clean up the mess.

Linebackers over pursue to try to make up for the scheme’s deficiencies and things get WORSE.

Coaching isn’t everything. It is the ONLY THING.
