Daniel’s may get it because Nix and Penix will split votes out west, but Bo Nix is my pick. His numbers are sick. Nearly 80% completion rate, 37 tds and only 2 ints.

Daniels has all the numbers. Nearly 3,800 yards passing and 40 TDs, over 1,200 yards rushing and 10 TDs. LSU’s defense is terrible, so he’s 9-3 instead of in $EC contention. He’s a cheat code. Would get my vote.

Penix hasn’t been overwhelming in 4 of his last 5 games, with than one game being Stanford.

Nix is on a roll.

Caleb still had a great personal season but USC‘s epic collapse will hurt him.

Daniels or Nix. Penix hasn't played great the past 4 or 5 weeks. If he balls out against Oregon next week then it could be him, but man its tough to beat a team twice. If Nix beats Wash and makes the playoffs my money is on him. Daniels is awesome, but LSU has lost too many games.

You may be right, but Daniels averaged 400+ yards total offense in LSU’s 3 losses.

True...but he gets a lot of yards because his defense is so bad. Penix and Nix aren't throwing and running 15 times every 4th qtr since the are usually winning.

True….but L$U having a porous defense isn’t Daniels’ fault either. With a lesser QB L$U could have lost 2-3 more games.

Who’s the best player ? This is why I hate the Heisman. It went from the best player to the best qb on the highest ranked team. Daniels is the best player in the country and by a mile. This isn’t basketball , he can’t help it if he has an absolutely atrocious defense. Imo he should win but Nix will. That said I haven’t watched the Heisman presentation in 10-15 years.

Ehh game 1 against a supposed top 5 FSU, high-scoring shootout with Ole Miss where he accumulated 500 total yards and 5 TDs, and the Alabama loss which he exited in the 4th because of injury but was running all over them.

I'd be happy to have a back run for 1200, and a QB throw for 3800, much less it being the same guy.
That's hard to beat IMO.
Throw in OU is still good without Nix, LSU is trash w/o Daniels
