Just looking at the talent on both sides of the ball.. wow. Next year is the first season I will be genuinely excited about the canes in a long time. The schedule sets up nicely. We need stacy coley to have a big offseason and step up to be the man next year. If that happens I think we're a 10-11 win team

SCOTT will be the #1 reciever next year bet that. No one on the roster has better hands or route running ability.

I like Tracy a lot but I just don't see him starting over Burns or Elder. He just doesn't seem to be athletic enough to beat those guys out.

I guess I can say "BUT, I ASKED YOU FIRST!!!" I won't. Here's my view:
It's hard to really tell because I don't necessarily like what either are being asked to do (zone behind a weak, passive front is ******* hard), but here's where I judge:
- I like Jenkins' athleticism, but he often takes worse angles than what I've seen Jenkins take.
- I feel safer with Carter's tackling than I do with Jenkins'. At least from I can remember.
- I'd personally use Carter closer to the LOS - let him blitz, play some man underneath and generally be an athlete. I prefer Carter in that role over Jenkins. And, really, that's the deciding factor.
(FWIW, I'm a big fan of Jenkins. I thought it'd be him and Carter this year)

I'll take a crack at it.
By the way, people are forgetting that Rayshawn Jenkins had a pretty serious injury. Was mentioned before that its not sure if he's going to play again. For now I'm very questionable on him so I'm leaving him off at least for now.
Sadly I am also writing off Scott for now. I always see him perform well in the offseason and he looks the part. But its crumbled 2 years in a row. I know its been said he might be back next year but for now I am doubting it.
I expect Coley and Howard to make 180's next season. I actually was at the game and focused in on Coley a lot. Coley still has it, Kaaya and Coleys chemistry is just not there yet. That injury earlier in the year messed up their rhythm. I expect those two to be working real close in the offseason. I definitely see Coley and Howard bouncing back. Coley was killing FSU's DB's I can't tell you how many times I saw him get open, the kid will be fine.
I expect Carter to improve his tackling over the offseason.
I like what Gus has done recently but jury still out and I think it looks bleak for him with the other horses coming in to join Yearby in the stable.
I think Gayot future is at linebacker. I see him outgrowing safety, I see a lot of potential for him at linebacker.
I don't have some listed in my chart that will still play like McCray, Smith, Wyche, and others.
I expect Gray to be at wide receiver. I see Ty Montgomery ability in him. I don't want him to be wasted away like Geathers.
