Who WILL finish out the season at QB

Anything other then Jaccuri starting is incompetence by Mario. The Van Dyke Era is over with. Time to move on and see what we have at QB for spring and next year. Jaccuri will be able to preserve his redshirt anyway. There's only 3 games left.

I'm thinking of the team, They/we played for EW in a way they never would have played for tvd. Even if we lose with JB I believe the team will be much more together trying to get behind him than they will ever be again for tvd.

Winning these last 3 games are so key for recruiting and the overall perception of the program. 5-7 then 6-6 is a horrific start

But 5-7 to 8-4 and a possible bowl game win? Thats a good step forward

youre right but we just had one QB have a bone stick out of his arm. save JBs health and let him develop in the offseason nd not rehab. dont risk the kids injury chances (when he requested a RS) bc you dont wanna play tvd. the season is over. let tvd finish it out and go off to the golf team. would be poor management throwing JB out there for 2 meaningless games

TVD seems relatively healthy so I’ll be shocked if he doesn’t start. What other choice do we have at this point? 1 on of the scout team QB’s? I’m sure JB would do anything he could to help the team but who knows at this point. Supposedly, there were some packages for JB against the semenholes but didn’t get to them for some reason.

Exactly… his scamper against Temple was such an anomaly. The tape shows he’s 10x more likely throw into double coverage on 2nd and 10 than he is to take a run lane that would net 7-8 yards. Smh

I don't believe what Mario said about that, not for a minute. We had multiple chances to see Brown in for a series early on and they didn't do it. Maybe it was their intent...but just ends up feeling like a hollow claim on Mario's part.

Just saying personally, I don't believe Mario on this. That may have been the intent but why in the world don't you stick to your word about Brown getting snaps then? It's wild to me.

If that's the case, then this week, TVD will start (already announced), then why not play Brown some? Do you think this week's intent is to get him snaps? Or will it be the intent at any point for the remainder of the season or will TVD get all of them going forward? I'm not being smart/judgmental, asking your thoughts honestly. To boil it down, if you were gonna try to play Brown some versus FSU, what's stopping them from getting him some burn for the games the remainder of the season/bowl game?

It’s all good man I was just clarifying. Tbh Mario makes no sense , you’d think JB would be his wet dream with what we’re doing on offense . It couldn’t be worse than what he did at Oregon with the BC transfer. Who also took a nosedive when he got to Oregon. JB could at least take a defender out of the run game. With Tvd we’re playing 11 vs 10 with zero threat of the run.
