Who was the BEST S. FL receiver out of High School ?

Cooper was hands down the best wr I've ever seen. Think about this has anybody ever seen a wr as polished as cooper coming out of HS ? The man is 6 foot and some change and runs routes like a slot receiver.

Since I have been following cane boards (03) id say Fred rouse and Ryan Moore(yeh I know Orlando) as Fla receivers

MNW WR Tim Brown who needed up at Rutgers. Dominant on the HS level. Remember when a CB tried to jam him at the Dade vs Broward Allstar game and the whole crowd was calling for the deep ball and he delivered. Super quick.

Knewhe was the best player that year, saban went all in. Massive fail by that staff, juedy this year is similar.

Juedy is good but he's no where near cooper. Richards is a better prospect then Juedy.

I'd go with Irvin and Andre Johnson. In eigth grade I remember seeing Kelvin Benjamin play Heritage , he's pretty good to but not the best. Hadn't seen him mentioned yet lol . though he's a nole it is a shame he missed all last year for the panthers.

Cooper his route running was huge for his age. And he went against good competition all through dade and that helped I think

That's the crazy part I've never seen somebody who knew how to run routes like that at a young age. Theirs a whole bunch of fast or big athletes but how many do you see that can run routes and as competitive as cooper. Ask Pete during the canes insider days I was saying cooper was better then DGB. Sam Bruce is the same type of athlete but doesn't have cooper height.

MAGIC BENTON WAS THE BEST WR IN FL. ANDRE JOHN NEVER DOMINATED A GAME, AS A MATTER OF FACT ANTONIO BRYANT WAS A WR IN HIGH SCHOOL THAN DRE MY LIST
MAGIC BENTON-MNW
CAPERS-MJ
SNOOP-MWN
DARNELL JENKIINS-MC
KENVIN BEARD-PLANT

Isn't Steve Smith and Chad Johnson from Sfl? How good were they in highschool?

Chad is from Miami, but Steve Smith is from Los Angeles. They both played on the same juco team. Chad played at Miami Beach high. Didn't see him play, but I heard that he was an option qb. Now plays for my boy's soccer team at Kendall soccer park.

Best WRs from SFL that I have recently seen play live (late 2000's - ):

Amari Cooper (Was even more impressive as a safety)
TY Hilton
Stedman Bailey
Antonio Callaway (senior year)

Just behind them:

Calvin Ridley
Duron Carter

I wasn't born yet when Anthony Carter was in high school and I was a little kid when Michael Irvin was at STA, so I can't specifically comment on them. Now, in the 90's recruiting services weren't all the rage and there was no youtube highlight reels of high school kids but I specifically remember Magic Benton being the most talked about receiver coming out of Dade in years. If you want to consider Fort Myers as part of south Florida, I'd throw Jammi German in there too.

Back in the day, most high school teams in sofla ran dinosaur option offenses. You rarely had big time quarterback recruits here. There was no spread. Most teams never even had a shotgun formation. Guys like Santana Moss played quarterback.

Is this about guys that were good in college or high school beasts?

And who the **** ever includes Fort Myers as south Florida?

1. Michael Irvin
2. Snoop Minnis
3. Ivan McCartney
4. Aldarious Johnson

Folks all thought that each one of those would be gods. 1 out of 4 was lol.
