The only problem we can address is the slurpers. They need to be put on a list up top.

(they need to be put on trains and sent...uh...somewhere, but we can't do that)
 
We don't need anymore cane on cane drama. We just need golden out before it's too late.
 
I wanted Golden gone last year to PSU. The defense was actually better than I thought it was going to be, which is just sad. But I still had us winning 10 games, even with Golden still here. I just thought we had so much talent, these coaches couldn't have possibly done worse than 8 wins. I thought we'd only potentially lose to FSU and Nebraska. How bad this coaching staff made this team perform is actually almost remarkable. I doubt even UF or FSU fans thought we'd be this bad.
 
Honestly at this point the slurper thing is so played out. This is the most united canes fans have been in years. Seems childish to bring up **** from before this disaster of a season.

Now is not the time to hunt for heretics.

Even the people at QAM who ran Sileo out of town know that this regime is a disaster, but there's only so much they can say because The University is a client.

I had hope for Golden up until the Nebraska game. That's when it occurred to me that Golden was never going to be the guy, he is way too conservative. Everything that's happened since then has only affirmed that belief.

If me taking that long to come to the realization that Golden isn't right for Miami means I need to be "outed," in your opinion, so be it.

Doesn't bother me one bit, and it doesn't bother me one bit to admit that there are plenty of folks on this board who know more football than I do, and you might be one of them. Luckily for you, I don't work in the UM admin and I have no say in who the coach is/isn't.

Unfortunately for both of us, Blake James seems to know less about football than even I do. So we ****ed.

You know what though, if you called it way back in 2011 then I'll give you props for that. Good job. Wish the admin at the time had the foresight you did, we would be a lot better off today.

Nebraska was also the point for me. The end to last season put me in the zone, Louisville game to the edge, and Nebraska was what finally did it. With all of the turnover we've had it would've been downright idiotic to fire him after last season. This is his 4th year, these are all of his players, there's plenty of talent, and we look worse than last year. That's the formula that got Randy fired, it should be the formula that gets Al fired. For all of the 'cloud' issues, he has still gotten top 25 classes but can't field a top 25 team. There's no reason to believe he will ever turn this around.

Last comment on this thread too. OP congratulations. Your prize is a self-administered handjob redeemable in your mom's basement. **** off.
 
Am afraid this Golden regime may be the very end of Canes football. Even in the old days, things weren't this bleak. There's just no more hope. By the time this idiot administration and BOT finally act, we'll be lucky to field a 1AA team.

Just like Smokey.... I imeediately jumped off the al wagon when we lost to Maryland. i went to that game and sat in the cold rain and watched us lose because we were simply outcoached and unprepared.

I was vilified because of my stance on golden on the ESPn boards as well as other canes boards. I just didnt understand how anyone could think this guy would be good here based on SCHEME and philosophy alone.

Miami will NEVER BE a 3-4 team. never ever ever. There is only one coach who could run a succesful 3-4 here and thats harbaugh. And even he would have to tweak it tremendously.

it would have to be a 1 gap 3-4 scheme with an ultimate blitz package. thats just doing too much and its part of the reason Golden is in this mess in the first **** place.

We need a coach who runs schemes that will exploit Miamis speed and talent and a 3-4 2 gap defense with a power offense is NOT miami football.

No one should have had that blind faith in golden based on schematics alone.
