IMO it's Trent Harris who wasn't invited to the combine. He would make a good rush DE/LB for someone.

Of course, Chad T, McIntosh and Norton for them this is a good chance to improve their draft positions

Hopefully Walton can improve upon his 4.6/40

I'm pulling for all our Canes to get drafted and paid

Berrios, Trent Harris, Herndon.

Chad is what he is. Chad will be gone in the first 4 rounds. Doesnt matter what he does.

The other 3 can improve, especially Trent who is definately and nfl player and should have had an combine invite. If Trent can run a good time, that would atleast get him on the radar...he may sneak in the last 2 rounds.

Not a good year to be a DL in the draft. Plenty of options and most NFL teams are taking deeper looks at LBs and DBs. Trent Harris has the most to benefit because of this factor. Norton and McIntosh need to give a lights out performance if they expect to get drafted anywhere near their projection. Walton’s 4.6 40 was pathetic. Somebody from UM better run the stopwatch.

how can it not be walton?

his poor performance at the combine was shocking to many writers

Agreed. Toolbox might work himself up out of those last couple of rounds or maybe I’m just biased because I always loved what he brought to the table. But I’m hoping he catches some scouts eyes. I do strongly believe he’s got enough versatility to find a roster spot somewhere.

Obviously, Berrios. But don’t discount Walton. We all know his work ethic, and he’s had the benefit of more days of injury recuperation, rest, rehab and training separating out from his surgery. Time is your friend in that situation and I’m expecting better numbers from him.

i completely forgot about Berrios!!

But IMO New England has the hots for him, as is, in the later rounds.

He'll fit right into their system

Toolbox will not impress any scouts with shorts and t-shirt on...he will make them do a double take when he participate in rookie camp. When the coaches evaluate the tapes after the practices/scrimmage, they will see this undrafted free agent making play after play. He'll be the next UDFA from the u, who makes the 53 man roster, year after year.
