Start TVD and rotate Garcia with different packages for each player…it will B a better team Thursday sooo we will see…continue to play our freshman…

Garcia looks to be the better player. I’m only basing that on what I saw. TVD is the check down king. Which won’t play as well when we play someone with a pulse. We need to push the ball down field. I don’t see the arm strength from TVD, that deep out to 7 was late, ugly and would probably be a pick 6 against almost every team we play.
I’m all in on the Garcia train.

I like Garcia however VanDyke clearly has the best arm.

I did see it. But if you can’t throw the deep out, which during the review he definitely stepped into it, then your pretty limited.
Just my opinion.

It's College, man. He doesn't have to have an NFL arm to play well here.

What makes you think Garcia is more athletic ? TVD was a 2 sport athlete

Garcia just has a better pocket presence in terms of escaping the rush. TVD looked good to me though. I don't understand the disrespect of the Red Rocket.

TVD will start but there's no reason why both shouldn't get reps so we can actually have a battle and a winner. If one of them catches fire then ride that horse. I anticipate Manny making the incorrect choices. Fact is - if King wasn't banged up, neither of these guys would have seen the field until late 3rd quarter.

I thought TVD threw the ball better. Garcia was late/under threw some passes but looked much better moving around.

I thought they both under threw however I don’t believe this was due to arm talent but rather chemistry with the receivers.

Just rewatched the condensed game. I think the best throws in that game came from Gracia. I also think he flashes better athletic ability. Just my observations.
