I think those programs will accept what Penn State has built with Franklin over what they currently have done the last 10 years with the hopes Franklin overcomes his shortcomings at their institutions.

I don’t see Franklin succeeding in the SEC in terms of game day but I do see Franklin doing better in the ACC.

We shall find out in a few months if they go into an adventure together.

FSU is fooked, don’t really have the money to fire him. Then you need a ton of cash to bring in a top guy and his staff, and you still have NIL to worry about. Not to mention you’re in competition with some really big name programs and some others that could be opening up soon such as Auburn and LSU.

Kelly is a bad fit, though not a bad coach. His buyout is massive, though.

There was a bit of an uproar over LSU paying Ed O's buyout due to the state's financial issues. That was only $17 million. Kelly's buyout is north of $53 million.

If his contract is paid by the collective, then maybe. If not, I don't see it.

It’s his home. I don’t see him leaving. Considering you can make the playoffs and win the title anywhere now. You don’t need to be at a blue blood program.

IMO, Franklin would Neutralize the advantage Mario has over FSU and UiF currently.

He’s not much better than Mario on game day but he’s slightly better with a better track record, although at a school with more resources at Pedo State.

Mario is running g out of time in terms of taking us to the playoffs and if Franklin somehow is pried to FSU, we must make it this year and we have next year and that’s it.

After listening to him on College Gameday Franklin sounds like a dufus. Not particularly articulate.
