Greg could have gotten hurt or anybody else. Of course we want Greg. No one is saying that. We’re saying, we’re going to still be a dominant defense with someone else in that spot.

DEs produced 26 or 27 sacks last year (in 13 games) - granted, 15 came from one guy which is exceptional. If we get ~25 sacks from DEs this year, but it's from 3 guys with 7 or 8, I'd say we've effectively replaced that first round talent.

No doubt. It’s also an opportunity to let someone else prove they’re a top pick themselves. We don’t know what to expect but we thought Garvin was going to be better than Greg and it was the opposite.
