I just don’t get how the coaches can be so **** stubborn that they’d rather ruin their careers than admit a mistake.

None. They had enough time to show consistent improvement. I think most even got to their senior class. We talking about firing Manny in his first year, that's crazy.

According to your logic Clemson should have fired Dabo after his 3rd season. They didn't and now they reaping the award. Look all I am saying somethings things take time to build.
