Saw some sports talking head say he talked to oddsmakers and was told OSU would be a 1.5 pt favorite over Miami on a neutral field.

Exactly. It’s the mid-level ACC debacles that plague this team yearly that do us in.

Double digit favorites that play down to their competition.

The mediocre ACC gauntlet of 7 unranked games in a row is a bigger challenge than playing a primetime game against a ranked opponent.

Mario's November record at Miami is pretty bad.

What do you base that on?

I would base it on Ohio St winning the championship last year and having a lot of players still on the roster who understand the consistency of effort and killer instinct needed to make it all the way to the final game.
Not a slight on Miami but there is advantage to having been in deep waters.
