Depending on what site you visit we have 14-16 commits and while I really like those guys , It will be the 10-12 we finish this class out with that will make or break this class. But I haven't been able to get a handle on who those last 10 or so guys will be . Anyone on here have a list of the guys we have a good chance to finish the class with ? Love getting zeroed in on recruiting at this time of the year!!

Not sure how we get 10 more in the class. 84 spots,69 on ships, 3 should have degrees so 18 spots unless kids transfer/quit...

1. How do you know how many are on scholarship?

2. I thought we could have 85 now?

3. Did you count the 5 EE's towards this year's numbers?

I think we bring in Romeo Finley, Malek Young, Latrell Williams, Lucas Niang, and Javon Wims for sure and just brace for signing day because I really think we finish in the top 10 because I smell some surprises

Surprises sounds good, just not sure what can really happen with a month left.

It is a pretty good guess based on roster numbers. It could be 68 or 70.

84 as the sanctions are 1 per year '14-'16 and 9 total.

EE doesn't matter as we have a cap of 84. Ignoring the 84 cap, we could likely take 28-30 based on 25 per year rule as EEs can count toward either year ('15 or '16 in this case)

Or we can push 10 kids out and sign 25-27. Don't think that would look too good since the roster is young AND they have 3 weeks to find 15 better kids. I'll put my money on a max of 20 LOIs.

I count 67 scholarship players on the roster and that includes the EE's that just arrived. I don't think Badgley is a scholarship player but that would be 68 if he is. That give us room for 18 more in this class (9 committed plus 9 open slots).

There's currently at least 18 open spots 12 seniors, 4 jrs that participated in senior night, Artie Burnsto the NFL , Brady gone

The better question is will I find out on this board or not?

Drought is making people thirsty.

Yes, I was counting the EE toward the 69 so we have 15 more spots. Thanks for pointing that out. We can get to 20 without pushing anyone out. 3 more with degrees that can stay or go based on the quality of the takes. Bags was on ship last year but could lose it but that isn't common.

That means my numbers were off by 5 due to the EEs. 20 easy. 23 by pushing Lewis, jones, Hamilton out. Then you have kids like loftus who could be told to find a different school as they will never see the field. That could open up additional spots getting us close to the 25 per year limits.

Then add in that we were at 77-79 scholarship players this year, we can have a full 85 now.. that makes for roughly a 24 man class give or take a few.

We are at 84 this year not 85.

We may have 68 kids on ship which leaves us with 16 more spots or 21 in the class. i have it at 69 and 15 openings. The 3 of the juniors are still on ships (Lewis, jones, Hamilton). We may need jones and Lewis unless the staff can land 4-6 WR which means we would have to kick others to the curb. So 20-21 kids in the class then hedge 3-4 spots for transfers and if those don't happen you have to let those three degree holders go and may be take away bags ship.

Thanks that was the kinda response I was hoping for . AS usually at this time I have a good list of names of guys who have UM in their top 3 and could sign with us . Think we could have a top 10ish class when it is said and done as we have a top 15 class at the moment with only 15 or so guys committed.

We finish with Malek Young, Ahmmon Richards, Jordan Woods, Amir Watts, Romeo Finley, Lucas Niang, and Randrecous Davis. We flip Javon Wims, Aaron Robinson, James Pierre, and a surprise or two at DT to make the class complete

I figured and I forgot ahmmon Richards btw

90sccane maybe in over his head lol

You have us at 18 open. I'm at 15 left with 5 already in class. Add 3 more for 5th year guys if we want.

As for who,
We will know 3-4 more by next Monday. Richards is likely a NSD pickup so we will head into NSD with around 17-19 kids depending on others who want to have a NSD table with hats.

Romeo, Williams, woods, watts, wims, young are the six I think we could see prior to NSD which puts us at 17-18 depending on Wiggins and Jackson.
