Who do you want to see play..... [QB next game?]

Football is a team sport and the Canes' bad calls, coaching, and bad performances allowed Louisville and SMU to stay in those games. That being said, Beck officially ended both games with INT's. Those games still could have been won if he throws it to the guys wearing orange and green.

Beck has been extremely disappointing in clutch moments. It was a fear I had when they brought him in the portal and unfortunately, it came to fruition.

What about the clutch moments vs ND, UF, FSU?

Becks INT vs SMU wasn’t the last play. The defense just gave up and let SMU run all over them. I’m not sure if we even had Blay and Moten/Scott in.

I’ll also say that the coaches again forced Beck to the hero when they could have passed more often in the 4th to secure the victory or at least keep Beck in rhythm. Even when the Defense had given up multiple run plays, they could have called time out in OT to get things right.

Beck's INT against SMU essentially ended it as all SMU needed to do was kick a FG and they'd win the game. I agree with you there is plenty wrong with how conservative this coaching staff is regarding the run game, bubble screens, and all that. It allows the opponent to stay in the game when they shouldn't be. However, Beck has coughed the ball up when the Canes needed him most. It's a lot of responsibility, but that's why he makes the big bucks.
