Yeah, I posted it over there.

I just want to see Miami with an exciting, innovative offense and an aggressive, attacking D once to see the results. Probably wont ever get it because the **** bags in charge but I think it could be deadly and get Miami relevant fast.

Right now Brohm and Babers are the hot candidates and they aren't really one hit wonders. Both are good candidates.

I know Offense is justifiably en vogue and I know Manny has been discussed, but a sleeper candidate would be Aranda at LSU. He's been a no bs successful DC at Utah State, Wisconsin, and now LSU and seems very intelligent. Obviously he has yet to run his own program as a head man, but he's been very successful at two powers recently and seems to be great wherever he goes. Maybe he would hire a good OC, etc.

Plus he's been associate head coach or second in command at LSU and can bet he's the reason they've rebounded and not the idiot they currently have as HC.

All went from coordinator/position coach right into pretty big jobs and had success.

Briles is an offensive innovator and can grab almost any military-aged male and have him throwing for 4K a season. His offenses are an incredible clinic in tempo, space, deception, and explosion. The added bonus is he spent his formidable years watching his snake father build a hilljack progrum in the middle of nowhere into a power. He also learned how to be a scumbag, an essential function of the job. He is ready to take the reigns at a big time progrum and has spent the majority of his life learning the blueprint and watching it in real world application.

Give me youth. Give me fire. Give me an intelligent guy who can produce a top offense every season. The Bill Parcels, outdated mindset of “Argh! Me bring lunchbox. Me beat man! Me win play!” Is gone. It’s all about the McVay style coaches now.

It’s all about offensive-savvy intellectuals who view the game as a chessboard, not knuckle-dragging, borderline retards who get kicked out of zoos for petting the animals too hard and tell the team they lost because they “only gave 109%, not 110.”

We need ranked voting....

Briles 1, Campbell 2

Campbell as HC and Briles as a $1M+ OC is my write-in vote.

They aren't one hit wonders as neither has actually hit anything. Babers is more accomplished, but let's not anoit him. Both are intriguing, but that is as far as it goes.

Of the "poll" above, to me it is Campbell, period. Not saying he is the best choice available, and I'm certainly not saying we will have a new coach next year, but Iowa State may be THE toughest power 5 job out there and his is crushing it. ****, he even had two mid-season frosh All Americans, one on each side of the ball, including a QB! At FREAKIN Iowa State! See https://247sports.com/Article/Best-freshmen-in-college-football-123437975/

For all the Leach, Kingsbury, etc. slobbers...stop it. If we hired one of them you'd ***** about the poor defense and lack of running game, not to mention the low priority on defense and RB recruiting.

And when the **** did Kendall Briles become a real HC candidate for any serious power 5 job? At this point he is the kind of guy Kansas targets. Maybe he does well, but there is zero in his career that says big time HC now.

I don't think I'll vote. But, that's a pretty good list.

As long as there are no Schiano or Edsall types, I'm good.

With Richt signed to 2023 I don't see the BOT doing anything until 2020 the earliest - good chance Brohm and Babers will be gone by then as right now they are the hot names, along with Campbell.

My interviews off the top of my head would be:

Brohm
Campbell
Babers
Briles

I'm sure I'd add more but that is who I'd start with. And yes, they all have something in common.

Same as my list. Although, I'd cross off Briles given that I know there's no shot that he'll even be considered at Miami (or any other school for that matter) given what happened at Baylor.
