Who do you want as the DC?

Definitely a proven quantity at DC. I don't want to take a flyer on a position coach.

With that said, Aranda is likely my top choice ATM.

Aranda
Orlando
Rob Ryan
An NFL guy who has studied under Wade Phillips for a few years (haven't done the research, so I don't have a name)
Leavitt

Wanted Don Brown as my first choice, but Harbaugh got on him.

I watched most of the USC-Colorado game. USC won a close game, and the Colorado defense was tough. Undermanned, and eventually lost, but played hard and mostly smart. USC just had superior talent over the course of 60 minutes.

Although he's a grey beard and probably isn't on the radar as an option, I would be thrilled with Nick Rapone. I can't even imagine the destructive terror coach Kool and Rapone would unleash on the college football world.

Bill Arnspager.

This one here is dead
cross him off then
So, you have a problem with dead people?

I mean, legally we're supposed to discriminate...

What about discriminating against a coach who is alive, but his coaching career appears dead?

Where do we stand on this one?

I don't care about people still roaming the planet. But, I'm sick of this blatant discrimination against dead people. I think dead people should rise up and fight this.

Okay....maybe not rise up...that would be weird.

I think Rapone is staying put at Arizona as he is an old VT classmate and teammate of Arian.
He has been around for a few years, often at bad college programs, so I think he is sticking with his
boy for the remainder of his coaching career.
And one can't blame him.

I like Lance Thompson from Auburn.

He was LB coach there and was their interim DC against Memphis. Held them to 200 yes of offense.

He is from the Saban/Muschamp coaching tree and has previous experience as a DC. Runs a hybrid D similar to what Florida ran the last few years.

Was named Recruiter of the year twice while with Alabama. Also coached with Saban at LSU.

He would be a home run hire.

If he's such a home run why didn't Auburn hire him?

Yeah, that would be weird. Then you would have to invite them to dinner, and you know I am NOT sitting down to eat with THOSE people.

Aranda or Orlando....

Honestly give me someone can develop kids and allow the defense to attack instead of sit back and get picked apart

Muschamp has claimed his services already.
