who do we have to beat to "officially" be a good team?

We're doing what really good/great teams do. And that's absolutely beat the **** out of lesser teams. We have covered every single game.

Ole Miss hasn't played anybody and is covering every game and nobody says a peep about whether they're good or not.

If you look at people like Josh Pate, Brett McMurphy (although I despise him), and even the Cover 3 dweebs, they all think we're a really good team. Cause we've not only handled business, but we've dismantled every team.

Look at the AP. They've been dropping teams who didn't win convincingly (Oregon, Mizzou) and have been moving teams up who have taken care of business.

The rivals will never give us credit. A lot of other fanbases won't either even though Ole Miss and Ohio Taint haven't played anybody either.

Just keep doing what we're doing and the rest will take care of itself.

And once we beat the absolute living **** out of Virginia Tech this Friday on national TV, they'll beat the drum for UM still. Cause this may not be your fathers VT, but it's still a conference opponent with a recognizable brand.

Louisville line vs. ND has been crazy.

Opened ND -10.5, hammered down to -3, now around -6/-6.5.

Ultimately I think the Irish wear down the Cardinals but they could be getting Lacy back. I think they’re a good benchmark to determine good vs. great team. They are well-coached and Brohm ate Guidry’s lunch last season. They have a good collegiate QB when healthy, Brooks Bell and Lacy are an upper echelon WR trio in the ACC. And they have the DON (jokes).

I can’t wait to see what Guidreaux has schemed up this time now that he can run the fronts and packages he desires without being hampered by injuries. I also think we can torch their secondary, Haynes King went 21/32 for 312 and hit multiple chunk plays on them.

We’re up to -5 there btw after being +1 preseason on paper. For anyone else interested (as of now);

-19.5 vs VT
-13.5 @ Cal
-5 @ Louisville
-15 vs. FSU
-21.5 vs. Duke
-12.5 @ GT
-20.5 vs. Wake
-11.5 @ Cuse

Projected double-digit faves in ALL BUT ONE OF OUR REMAINING GAMES.

Take care of business and let’s roll into the ACCCG.
 
Don’t let any other fan base try and devalue your wins. In their eyes, all their wins are valid and yours will be filled with some excuse.

Enjoy that your team is winning and blowing people out. It will sort itself out, but to me, fan bases for a few teams all have claims to be best in the country right now.

TL;Dr just say you’re the best in the country until you lose, that’s what I’m doing anyway
 
ACC Champ game and a playoff game or 2.

Those are signs of good teams. Win your conf. and, now in the expanded playoff, make the playoffs and win a game.

Obviously really good teams are going to win a game or 2 in the playoffs.

Also helps if ND gets eliminated from the 12 team playoff with 2 losses.

Nobody..we’re showing it on the field with total domination..I was skeptical all of season but Mario and co. have shut me up. So glad to be wrong
 
We just beat a good team and that's South Florida. They'll end the season with 8 wins or more. They face Tulane and Memphis in the next two games then they'll go on run with the remaining schedule.

Two games to watch out for is @Ga Tech and @louisville. Both are good teams and on the road. Ga Tech record won't show it cause they'll end with 5-6 losses but they face Miami, Norte Dame and Georgia. I think they can beat Norte Dame. They should be 5-0 right now but they beat themselves in both the Syracuse and Louisville game.
 
Canes are ranked in the top 10 of both polls after starting the season 19th so there is respect. Of course it would be great if Louisville and Miami meet as undefeateds and the Canes pull it out, especially since I'll be there!
 
Because of how the ACC is viewed a win in the playoffs should silence folks. As long as the last game doesn’t look like FSU vs UGA.

Can’t get smacked by nobody, don’t care how far we get.
