Who Couldn’t Have Predicted This?

I want them to drop. When this happens they appear unbeatable. Im not going to Charlotte for watch them lose. Last road game was 2002 Rose BowlThe Canes and I are beyond overdue for a title!

Top 4 will stay exactly the same.

Committee has it exactly how they want it and unless one of the top 4 loses before the conference title games it won't change next week either.

They want the ACC vs. Big10 in the Rose Bowl and the SEC in the Sugar Bowl vs whoever.

That's their ideal money play now.

It's funny. This game is almost the same as Clemson having all kinda problems with FSU. But I don't care anyway. We win our games we're good. Noon game, After back to back night games with energy. UVA is the worst type of team to go up against. Already bowl eligible and can't really gain or lose anything.

What's this guy talking about? And interesting take by Reed saying Miami is "very beatable." We spotted them 14, gave them biased refs, and played about as bad a game as we have all year for 3 and a half quarters and we still beat their ***.

Well, okay Mr. Reed, if they are beatable, as you contend, then why in the **** didn't you beat them?? Every time I read a loser in any kind of sport make that asinine statement I know they simply don't understand how life works as they have unknowingly belittled themselves.

We'll see what happens on Tuesday, but no one should be surprised if, in fact, we get jumped by both Wisconsin and Oklahoma. This selection committee is looking for every excuse to do so.

But we get to play Clemson. Not many teams will play a playoff contender before the year is out to show how good they are...

We beat VA by 3 scores, we're undefeated and people expect us to drop.

No.

So because Clemson came out flat against Boston College, that hurts them? Apparently not, because they lost to Syracuse (who we beat), and are still ranked ahead of us.

Everyone still has their biggest games in front of them:

Wisconsin plays Ohio State
Alabama plays Auburn and potentially Georgia
Georgia plays Alabama or Auburn
Oklahoma plays TCU (they're out of the playoff but they're still Top 12)

There are some interesting permutations. For example, let's say Bama loses to Auburn and Georgia to Tech. Assuming that the selection committee's rather transparent bias in favor of the SEC continues, would they pick a one loss (but non-conference winning) Alabama over a 2 loss Georgia if Georgia beats Auburn in the conference game?

No, 1 loss Bama isn't going in over 1 loss Georgia.

Doesn't matter. Beat Pitt and then beat Clemson and we are top 2 no matter what any of these talking heads say.

You didn't read my post very carefully. Note, I called for a Georgia loss to Tech as part of the scenario.

Who cares, as long as we finish in the top four at the final rankings. Winning out and beating Clemson will surely do that.

Fair enough.

1 loss Bama goes into the playoff in that scenario without a doubt.
