Clinton Portis. Nobody ever talks about him as one of the best Miami RBs.
And, of course, a Missouri kid named Medearis.

Carlos Huerta! One of the best PKs in The U's history.Michael Badgley

If the so-called younger fanbase doesn't know who Medearis and E. Brown are, I suggest they need to read up on them. Are they appreciated by you and some of the other older diehards? Yeah maybe, but whether you realize it or not a lot of the younger folks in this fanbase don't know who either guy is.
Are Medearis and E. Brown appreciated by me and some of the other diehards??...Yeah maybe??....C'mon Bro....both are UM Legends...Are they appreciated by you and some of the other older diehards? Ryan Mcniel is another older guy NEVER mention. Are Medearis and E. Brown appreciated by me and some of the other diehards??...Yeah maybe??....C'mon Bro....both are UM Legends...
Loved Ryan....then again, I'm a DB guy...Ryan Mcniel is another older guy NEVER mention.
McNeil is one of my favorites ever. But he had a long NFL career. He's well-known, and got significant recognition during his career.Ryan Mcniel is another older guy NEVER mention.
From my HS...North Ft. MyersWarren Williams.
Dude spent four years at UM ('84 - '87) and was never the feature back, always came off the bench. Got drafted in the 6th round in the 1988 draft.
That's when I knew the Canes were loaded, when dudes who didn't even start were getting drafted.
First one I thought of was CJ Richardson too. Secondary as a whole from 94 was underrated. I guess that will happen when you have Warren Sapp and Ray Lewis on the same defense.CJ Richardson - remember his game-momentum changing INT vs FSU in 1994?
Malcolm X Pearson - remember his endzone INT vs FSU in 1994?
James Stewart - great potential but had other issues, shall we say...
No, thinking Knowles. He wasn't very good, but this board had him as the worst player ever to wear the uniform.Knowles? Underrated? He was awful. He was on Kacey Rogers, AJ Highsmith level of bad. I'm sure some will bring up his one decent game against FSU, but that guy made me cringe every play he was on the field. Great guy, good teammate, outstanding student athlete, but not a good football player.
Are you thinking of Sheldrick Redwine? He was a bit underrated. Think he finally got some respect and credit by his senior year.
Maybe don’t put on the #20 jersey as a Safety at Miami if you’re gonna play like Knowles did.No, thinking Knowles. He wasn't very good, but this board had him as the worst player ever to wear the uniform.

I’ve always thought CP was highly regarded amongst fans. Most have him somewhere between our 3rd-5th best RB depending on who you ask, and that’s fair. But it’s pretty much a consensus he’s not above EJ or OJ.Clinton Portis. Nobody ever talks about him as one of the best Miami RBs.
