After the UF lost, I step in here as an alum and stated why Miami would fail with manny. I stated how this isn’t the real U anymore but a fake replica. #SouthBeachU. Where entitlement and flash are allowed and fostered over substance and grind. Everyone trolled me. Issues begin up top with a pampered HC and his buddies he hired and it trickles down to the field & players. But hey, that’s the new culture. The #TNM that is promoted. The new norm of the past 16 years. Where a fanbase argues over who their favorite player is and why they aren’t playing versus why the staff can’t adjust. Same mentality has bled into the fanbase. Entitled with no substance. Sidenote: The cat was out of the bag on this staff when 12 sack Rousseau (the only REAL U-type player and I made a thread on that) was benched basically the first three games over a Scott Patchan. (Legacy guy). But keep pondering the obvious. Hopefully FIU/Puke (not a typo) will show people the light.

"The New Miami" was always a long-term play and never a quick fix. Anyone who latched on to that as some overnight turnaround; that's on you for being basic and emotional over logical.

7-9 since Pitt in 2017 when Diaz took over—fifth head coach at UM in 14 years—for a program that was 97-71 from 2005 Peach to the 2018 Pinstripe, 35-3 *** kicking.

But yes, if you thought some clever tweets and dude rolling up to a booster event in a yacht was gonna fix incompetence that went back to the last three years of the Coker era—then you deserve to hover in this stew of mediocrity.

No idea if Manny gets it solved, or not—but the morons in this fan base screaming #TNM in the off-season and yelling about waxing Florida and wanting a crack at Clemson—as much a part of the problem as anything else that's happened to UM football over the past decade-plus.

Program has been diarrhea since that 14-10 loss to Georgia Tech in 2005—but THIS was the year; a first-year, first-time head coach? This was where it all turned around? GTFOH.

I'm not going to claim I KNEW Diaz would fail - but what was obvious from the start was that there was absolutely no reason to assume he was going to be any sort of positive difference-maker. His lazy hire was one or both of two things: 1)Sheer wishful thinking and/or 2)Nobody giving a crap whether he was a good choice or not. He was a lazy, easy choice and of course that's what we got. Think about it - they haven't made a decent choice for HC in a quarter century. Why start now?

Moronic fans are not responsible for the disgraceful product that trots out on the field and loses to UNC, FIU,GaTech and Duke.

@Twhizman, I’m curious... what makes you think they were Canes to begin with?

It’s a ******* job to them and they know they won’t be fired for their incompetence!!
Some are alumni’s and most of us are just dopey fans living in the past (I’m one of those fans) and they can care LESS! When I used to donate I was the greatest, now I’m a nobody in their eyes because I refuse to give them my hard earned money, that I take a lot of **** at work for, to give them... fvck you fake blake and fvck you admin!!!
