Going to these games for sure and maybe Pitt. Haven’t been to either stadium and was planning on taking my boys to one of the games. It will be their first game. They’re 9 and 7 and I’m curious if anyone has any recommendations to which place would be the best for the kids.

I'm from PA so I try to get to the Pittsburgh game every other year when we play. Heinz is a very nice stadium. Pittsburgh in general is a nice city. Be careful not to get turned around its very confusing with all the bridges.

UNC fans are more obnoxious than Duke fans. Of course they are usually the tougher game and that may be why. Duke fans seem to understand their place as a basketball school and are more gracious losers than UNC lol.

Been to Duke. Tough to find parking and there was no food or drinks (no alcohol) after half time. The stadium isn't too bad. Seats about 33k IIRC with decent views on concrete bleachers. There were about 3-4k Cane fans there.

Planning on going to UNC this year - mainly because it's in Sept instead of late Oct or Nov. Never been. Don't care if their fans suck. Will wear my U gear and give them all the 5 finger salute.

Parking at UNC isn't great either. There are garages, but they are a decent hike to the stadium. I could go the rest of my life without hearing the call and answer of TAR!!! HEELS!!! from their announcer and fans.........BUT I'll probably go and give them a hard time with you haha

Duke has refurbished an old stadium, with new video boards. Their parking and tailgating is cool, with a lot of Miami fans taking up certain parking lots.
Carolina on the other hand is random parking, at least a mile or more walk to the stadium, decent facilities, and updated seats.
Both have good site of line.
Fans at Duke respect the U....the UNC crowd are a bunch of idiots that are in way over their heads............residue of Butch Davis Coaching there for a while, so the arrogance, and attitude is palpable..
My son who is 6'3, 220 and works out, along with a belt in karate, almost got into it while walking to our car with a drunk fan who almost crossed the line. Luckily for him he backed off.
Our Canes will beat the crap out of Duke, so take your kid to that game, and enjoy our Cane section, on the visitor wall area.

I have been to both stadiums and it's not bad at all especially Duke. Not a bad seat in the house at Duke, but remember this year UNC is a night game so it will be even better to whip that *** in primetime and its Mack Brown home opener for UNC so atmosphere will be electric in 1st half lol, other than that I will be yelling stick to basketball in the 2nd half, see everyone at the games #GoCanes

dj.......we enjoy Duke........the tailgating, the parking lot Cane sh**, and the fans are cool.
Not so at Carolina....
This year should be payback for both, and I mean foot on your neck beat down if we can.
