Which Hurricane game did you feel the best after?

Dorsey to Shockey.
Was there in the west end zone lower deck. 17 years old. It was a lot easier to buy single game tickets back then. Even after FSU went up I knew we were winning that game. Still the greatest single game experience of my life. I remember going by the dirt parking lot after the game in front of the OB and screaming at Lee Corso how he liked them ‘Canes. Lost my voice the next day.

What sealed the deal for me to be a Die Hard fan was the UCLA game, no question.

Dorsey to Shockey and Wide Right III was one of the greatest games I've ever seen in football.

But, going to my first live game, ND v. Miami, a Top 10 matchup, in the West Zone, Ed Reed ROH ceremony, the crowd reaching a fervor that old timers compared to what it was like in The Orange Bowl...I can't ever imagine topping that as a personal experience.

I bought that ticket two months in advance, so I literally fell into a perfect storm of chaos, loving every second of it.

During Half Time, the restrooms were full of Miami fans yelling "IT'S GREAT! TO BE! A MIIIIAMI HURRRICANE."

I spent a grand on that trip, and would spend it again in a heartbeat. :)

That ‘17 ND game was everything you dream it to be. No respect, “ND is gonna pound Miami”, etc. We literally took Adams out of the Heisman talk, and took them to the woodshed. The Bandy pick 6 sealed that game, it was over. Domers had zero hope. Very Orange Bowlesque feel.

Great game. Great atmosphere. I was fortunate to be at both games, not trying to minimize 17, but the 89 game at the OB was like nothing I’ve ever seen or heard. It was constant insanity. Coaches on the field could not hear coaches in the box on their headphones. It was like being at the Cape for a 3 hour shuttle launch. Deafening

The two loudest OB games I've seen were '89 ND, and '85 Bears.

It still amazes me to watch those on Youtube. '89 was insanity, but the Bears vs. Dolphins game was god**** nuts. The refs were pleading with the fans to settle down, which, in OB vocabulary, is to yell even louder. Damndest thing I've ever seen, and it was like that the whole game.

I feel incredibly lucky to have been at the '17 game, and forgive me that I can't be objective about it. :)

My Ears were ringing....Even at Halftime it was hysteria...

How the OB didn't come tumbling down after Carlos Jones Pick6 in 94 is one of Earths Great Mysterys....Holy Jesus....

So many great ones but for me it was the '83 Natty. Obviously our first but was memorable for me because I moved from SFL in November and had to watch it on TV by myself. Never thought I'd see the day we'd win a National Championship. It was pure joy after all those years watching games in the OB and not a thought of being champions.

I'm only 27 so the 80s weren't my time, but 2017 ND game had me feeling giddy as ****. My Platoon Leader at the time was a huge ND fan and was talking all sorts of trash questioning Miami's "toughness" against a power run game. After the 2nd q he wouldnt respond to any of my texts or calls. The bandy pick 6 was the cherry on top. The next day he couldnt even look me in the eye:rk5i6fxwjlgev5j6.jpg:

Exactly! Unless you were there, you could not imagine. Got there early to see John Routh riding a little motor bike around the OB. Been to Super Bowls, Stanley Cup Finals, NC games etc, never heard anything like it. I thought the place was actually shaking a few times.

Surprised he didn't try to smoke your *** like a little *****. Most Notre Dame fans are little *******. ;)

From a “been everywhere, done everything old timer”, that ND game was the closest thing to a great game in the OB. For us old dudes, there were so many like it that it is hard to pick one, but for young pup, that one is worthy to remember.
