Bubba Sparx, he'll be clutch down the road when we beat Clemson on a 55 yarder with 0.1 seconds on the clock.
..Book it 😁

I like this narrative. Only what will really happen is that Baxa will hit one from 55 to put us up by three with 13 seconds left. Our ****** special teams will allow a return to the two yard line, but we'll be thanking our lucky stars that Jaquan Johnson is The Man and was out there on special teams to save the TD. With one second left, that pu$$y Dabo will elect to kick a field goal to send it to overtime. Their ****** kicker will miss it and Clem$on fan$ all over the world (by which I mean many of the counties in SC), will be like, "Whaaaatt???? Not fair, butbutbutbut we have bought, er I mean recruited, 4 5-star kickers in the last three years, how come we still can't kick a football???"

One-loss Clemson will still get the playoff three seed, and undefeated Miami will get the 4 seed.

I have a feeling one of the freshmen will lock down a starting spot in the secondary between Frierson, Hall, Ivey or Blades. Tough to say this early on, but probably Frierson or Ivey given that they've participated and stayed healthy in the spring. Hall is probably the best talent but behind two somewhat reliable seniors back there (not a huge Redwine fan).

This is basically my real answer. Both Frierson and Ivey are going to play starters minutes, whether they are nominal starters or not.

Lots of other great answers. Lingard will see his biggest value on ST this year, but could be real impactful there. Rousseau is the easy answer right now, in the end I think he has a similar year as JJackson and Garvin did their freshman years. I love Hightower, he is going to be a stud, but as long as AR is healthy, his numbers will be somewhat limited, and I also hope for a huge year from Cager. Silvera is the wild card. We don't necessarily need him to fill the stat sheet, but this defense will go as far this year as he is able to play with ferocity for 40 crucial snaps per game. DB depth, though, is where we truly need the frosh the most, and where we can least hide their mistakes. The play of Frierson and Ivey will be critical.

Of course, if Baxa sucks, we're doomed. So he's the right answer.

I would like to start my comment by saying this if my first post ever. I am a longtime lurker and find you all (most) regulars very entertaining and sometimes even somewhat informative. Now without further ado here are my top ten. Please respect my decision!
Baxa
Jordan
Pope
Rousseau
George
Frierson
Lingard
Silvera
Ivey
Hightower

FYI, Miami raised transplant living in Texas.

Decision respected. Welcome to Thunderdome, keep your head up and your eyes peeled.

Bubba. I saw Bubba's film and apparently he ca punt as well. So if Feagles on that 15 yard punt BS we can hopefully put Bubba in.

Also we better hope 2 freshman CBs emerge because I don't like the sound of Bandy outside. We should also pray that Nesta can give us something but he has to be a special DT to do that.
