Which freshman will have the greatest immediate impact this season?

In order:

Baxa
Jordan
Pope
Rousseau
George
Frierson
Lingard
Silvera
Ivey
Hightower
Hall
Mallory
Davis
Williams
Scaife
Reed
Campbell
Joyner
Ezzard
Blades
Miller
Bethel
Wiggins

Basing my decision solely on who's a lock for playing time, I'd go with:
Bubba Baxa (we have no other scholarship kicker)
Brevin Jordan (returning TEs are doo-doo)
Then maybe Mark Pope or Gilbert Frierson since they'll be in the rotation and we often use multiple WRs and CBs.

I love Nesta and Rousseau but there's quite a log jam on the D-line and I'm not sure they'll get a significant number of snaps, at least early in the season.

I would like to start my comment by saying this if my first post ever. I am a longtime lurker and find you all (most) regulars very entertaining and sometimes even somewhat informative. Now without further ado here are my top ten. Please respect my decision!
Baxa
Jordan
Pope
Rousseau
George
Frierson
Lingard
Silvera
Ivey
Hightower

FYI, Miami raised transplant living in Texas.

That's an impressive list.

There's always room for improvement and I'm sure that's always the staff's goal BUT....It also makes me realize that some of those who were sweating us losing a few prospect as if the sky was falling on the Miami program.....failed to really appreciate the abilities and potential of those we did get.

I like the way we're going and the direction that we're headed

Focusing on who we successfully recruit is the only approach to avoid becoming a mope.

Some people can't/won't ever get over Campbell and Surtain.

I like Brevin and Will as much as anybody, but I recently read something on the impact of top TEs as freshman and the results weren’t great. It may be a combined effort by them both to reach Chris’ numbers from last year. Some will call me crazy but that’s a tough position to make an immediate impact at.

I have a fun question: How many first rounders do you think will come out of this class, and who will it be? Preemptive defense: I know they are freshman, but it is the offseason, so why not.

I think when it is all said and done, we will have 6 first rounders out of this group: Jordan, Pope, Rosseau, Nesta, Frierson, Silvera.

2nd/3rd rounders : Hall, Hightower, Mallory, Scaife, Lingard, Blades (think he will transition well in college),Williams, Miller (think he is a diamond in the rough).

I am feeling a bit homerish.
