Which Coaches are Retained?

If Coach Panick Button must remain, then retain him as CEO, Hartley (as TE coach), Dungans, and Diaz. But didn't Georgia try something similar without success already? Let go the others. Be sure to get new ST coach, OL coach, OC with full autonomy as Diaz, QB coach that answers to new OC not to Coach Panic Button. Fire all but Hartly, Dungans and Diaz after year 5 if this doesn't work.

OL QB and LB ST got to go and a new OC, but I’m also ok with a new RB as well. No more on the job trainer
 
The old man is all about loyalty over logic.. That might get you places in the mafia, but not in a college football program.. i hope differently, but I wouldnt expect him to make any staff changes unless forced.
 
Keep defense but I didn’t like the patke hire. But he’s doing his job

I was so damm disgusted with CaneInsight I left it for six months.However Miami
FB is so bad,I have to comment.First problem,the constant reminder that the three
counties in So.Fl turn out the finest recruits in the country.In other words,there ****
doesn't STINK! Just take a look at the 2019 potential recruits,mostly 3 star recruits.
PATHETIC.
Second,when they do get to the U,they are poorly coached for the game.False
starts,offsides,missed blocks.Specfic eample,Mark Pope throws a block at GT below
his knees.Long completion nullified by 15 yd penalty.
Third,No OC.Richt is using plays from early 80's when he played.When we
played BC,Scott Loefler,former OC of the Cowboys and Vikings was calling their plays.
May I suggest a BOYCOTT of season tickets until Richt makes some major changes.

In an ideal world - blow it all up and hire a young, fiery, hungry coach like Campbell. Campbell can only do so much at Iowa St; he won't be able to continuously compete with Texas and Oklahoma given the talent the Cyclones routinely bring in.
 
We don't need incremental change. It's like escalating the Vietnam war over and over. The idea is to win, not make it an even fight.

It's time UM football took a leap into the future.
 
Preference is to see Richt retire. If not, these guys have to go:

Searels
Richt Jr
Jones
Hartley

Or you can move Hartley to just tight ends. Either way there needs to be a new special teams coach, as that area has been inexcusable.

He will replace Meyer in 2 years at OSU.

I’m with you except Thomas. Burned that bridge and not that great of a coach.

Just what has Hartly done to keep him. Worse special teams unit in the history of CANES football, and very little production out of our TEs.
 
The guy got a chance to hire whomever he wants & look at the staff he put together initially? Ex players, first timers & his son is who he hired.

I don’t trust that MFer to hire anyone that’s competent. He doesn’t have a coaching network to pull from bc he didn’t pay real dues before becoming a HC.
