The defense gave up 20 points to FSU in the 1st half... it took both the offense and defense to come back and win the game.

Completely agree. That crap their pathetic kicker pulled should have gotten him jacked out of the game. Did you see how he went dead weight just when he grabbed JT’s face mask? That ****e causes more injuries than their ***** *** helmet-helmet ruling. Guarantee that if they made that a new ruling kicking out the player blatantly doing it, it would send a message to the players! I so wanted on the re-kick for someone to just go sideways on his punk ***!!

Anyone find it hard to believe that #20 was the closest guy to Matthews when he fielded the punt that he ended up returning? Guy always finds himself in the area on the worst plays.
 
All the best teams have head coaches who really prioritize special teams. The details of STs can make or break a team on any given week- types of kickoffs, kick and punt coverage, returns, fgs, ability to properly flip the field. It’s just too important to be sloppy if you really want to be the best.

And Bubba's wasn't even a shank. It was a short field goal on the left hash mark that he pushed a little too far right. It happens in just about every game in college football with the hash marks out so far.

It wasn't about him missing. It was about his reaction to the miss.
 
Richt doesn't know what OL he wants. At UGA they were a ground n pound team under center for majority of his time there. It's a downfield hat on hat blocking scheme. Now he's trying to adjust to the times with his RPO system/zone blocking scheme, and it's not working - despite the talent on the roster.

We have guys at OL who everyone in the country wanted, and we look fvckin awful. I blame Richt at the end of the day. Year 3 folks, year 3.

Jesus guys give the kid a break, he's a true freshmen who does nothing but slam kickoffs through the west endzone and nail most all of his field goals

best case scenario for this upcoming Saturday is for UM to get him some PAT's to knock through, have a comfortable lead/blowout(knock on wood) and let Bubba knock through a couple of short field goal to get his mojo going. As Yogi Berra said,'Half this game is 90-percent mental'(or something like that)

I know this, Bubba's issue is not leg strength.

Come on bro, my friends mom kicked a 30 yard FG at halftime at one of my HS games. Your a D-1 kicker...your supposed to make 28 yard FGs. Nuff said.
