Where's all the MACK Brown slurps

Their defense is God-awful. Not coming with real in-depth knowledge, but the DC's reportedly decent, and FSU and UVA aren't reinventing the wheel schematically, so it seems a logical conclusion that the Heels are operating with a talent deficit on that side of the ball. Or playing with a lot of really young players (?) Not sure Mack can be held responsible for that in his second season at the helm.

Texas won because there was no instant replay back then. On last drive, on 4th down, Young knee clearly touched ground. Game should have been over.

Right... This UNC team is super talented and can't be overlooked.. They are a good team no doubt.. They tend to start off the game sleep walking but come on strong, MB is not to person to blame, these player's have to play better..

Their hype seemed to mostly be because of the strong performance against Clemson.

However, Clemson has a bad game like that every year. The difference between now and the Clemsoning days circa 2014 is that nowadays Clemson ultimately ekes out victory in their bad games.
 
UNC is improved from the Fedora days and could easily beat us in December but I never understood the hype. They could easily lose 4-5 games.
 
The offense is elite. They do dumb stuff at times that cost them.

They have the 2nd best offense on the schedule behind Clemson,

This might actually be a game for us like the first few games where Lashlee could get away with running up the middle with lots of chunk run plays and not overthink it. Even that last field goal drive UVA had, they basically pounded and UNC was still crowding up towards the line of scrimmage and couldn’t stop it.

Actually, UNC may be still overachieving. Weren’t they picked to be dead last in the Coastal last year? If so, certainly overachieved last year. This is year two and they have a stocked 21 class so a case can be made that they are competing as they should be and are a year away from real contention.

They have a QB who people were calling a Top 5 QB at the beginning of the season and have dropped games to a FSU team who we beat by 6 scores and a UVA team that our fan base said was horrible just last week. How on earth are they overachieving? UNC has recruited similarly to us over the last decade as well.
