Where the top in-state recruits in Florida signed

McCoy and Mack were absolutely recruited. Mills is a toss up.

All the IMG kids, both gets and misses out of state. I mean, you remove the IMG landed recruiting in Florida is even worse. Point is, Mario has not recruited FL good enough since he arrived.
Dont think lawayne ever had a committable offer.

he didnt he was trying to leverage because of his boy. So Fla rankings arent always accurate. there are normally some busts.
Also, there are kids like Bryce who might struggled to tackle but I have heard is one of the most dynamic playmakers to come out of So Fla in years. Or a kid like Ewald who's a 4 star that no one seems to think is good but although he lacks explosive athleticism, hes apparently a fundamentally sound cb.

Asharri Charles is our top ranked Florida kid according to 247 and I think he’s around 16-17?

Not sure there’s any real hope to improve that

Over the years the debate about recruiting Florida vs OOS always fascinated me. Problem hasn’t necessarily been recruiting Florida, it’s that we haven’t landed many of the good players in Florida

Is this the result of Miami taking a national recruiting approach? FL kids not being interested in Miami? Combo of both? Only 2 of these kids are even staying in the state and Williams most likely has at least one more flip in him.
out of this top 10. (Context)

2 are original Jersey kids (Johnson, Fitzpatrick) though i count em as florida boys.
1. is from Southern Cal (Pepe)
4. of them are from Gator/FSU territories ( Izaiya, Kreuhl, Henderson, Kennon) Henderson and Kreul would typically be gators.
the remaining 3.....2 we got beat for in Cooper and the legacy kid.

Florida state got 2 in both kids may flip...**** if we pushed for Kennon we likely landed him. The whole top 10 may leave the state honestly
