Miami’s run last season still feels a little unreal.

The Hurricanes pasted through the College Football Playoff, beating teams like Texas A&M in the opening round, taking down No. 2 Ohio State in the Cotton Bowl, then heading west to beat Ole Miss in the Fiesta Bowl. The ride ended with a loss to Indiana in the national title game, but the Hurricanes seem to be back at the top.

And ESPN doesn’t think that was a one-year thing.

In its early look at the 2026 College Football Playoff field...

If we get out of our own way with some or our reactive coaching or playing down to opponents we should run the table outside of maybe ND which will be a toss up

You guys gonna see the Samoan version of Mark Fletcher at Hawaii this year lmao. My son enrolled early and will be playing RB in this Run N Shoot offense. Currently in Spring workouts. 6’0 1/2, 230lbs. Clocked at 21mph in the flying 10. I think his playing weight will be around 225lbs. I told him ball out and lets hope Miami calls with Keiki now at UM come Spring portal 27 lmao. He still growing. Prolly end up around 6’1-6’2.

Congrats! Hawaii is my wife’s alma mater and we used to go almost every home game when we lived there. Look forward to seeing your son set records.

It has been a loooooong time since I've been this excited for next year right after our last game. In the past my thoughts have usually been "well thank god that nightmare of a season is over" right around now.

Thanks brotha. Praying all goes well and he has a great Spring. Timmy Chang is the right man for the job. Similar struggles to MC early on with managing the game. Timmy locked in the second half of the season. They look good and did well in the portal. Future looks bright at UH. Go Warriors💚🖤🤍
