Where is the TE in this Offense?

What we are selling is we don't have any TEs worth a **** is why the TEs aren't getting touches and that provides a huge playing time opportunity for incoming players.

We currently have a blocking TE, an injured TE who has played 5 snaps this season, a glorified WR who can't block nor catch, and then true freshman.
Thought the pitch was early PT?

TEs aren’t even being covered…it’s part of the reason tvd is getting hung up.

Arroyo was dressed and ready to play. Half a season and 2 targets is def gradually.
I don't know any more than what is reported here. Being dressed is one thing, being ready to play (and be effective) is another. Your guess is as good as mine.
The same goes for Williams. I don't know their thinking. Mario strikes me as risk adverse and gives reps based on his confidence in them. The paradox is many of his decisions have unintended consequences and end up introducing more risks. :noidea:

How many MNCs have pure Air Raid offenses won in CFB?

Do our current starting WRs have the speed needed to consistently get open against quality opponents…even when opponents are dropping more guys back into coverage?

Has UM been highly effective over the decades using TEs in the passing game?

Did Bowers cause major mismatch problems for UGA the last 2 seasons & play a major role in their MNCs & offensive production?

When your QB is having accuracy issues and/or forcing throws into double coverage & racking up INTs, does it make sense to mix in some targets to a TE with a big frame & large catch radius?

Does it make sense to leverage the skill set of Arroyo (when healthy) who is an incredibly fluid & dependable receiver (with a pretty high ypc avg of 13.2 that is higher than X’s 12.2 ypc avg this yr)?

Or, do you go with pure Air Raid concepts even when your opponent has made great adjustments coming out of the half (including dropping more guys back in coverage) & you’re scoring zero points in the crucial 3rd qtr (and first part of the 4th qtr)?

I think the degree of difficulty is too nigh on many of TVDs throws (and that’s why the INTs are starting to pile up together with some bad decision-making and/or not seeing the open man). It’s impressive when he pulls them off (like that TD to X where he threw into double coverage) but the odds of sustaining success like that are too low. There are many reasons we’ve lost the last two games but the biggest single factor has been multiple turnovers (INTs & fumbles many of which came at critical moments). Give TVD some easier throws to complete & less coverage to deal with (by being more diverse) and those INTs will drop & we’ll have a chance against higher quality comp. We ain’t beating Clemson & FSU with 4-5 turnovers per game. Got to cut those down.

If defenses started to cover the TE again, instead of ignoring them like they are now, things might loosen up for him all over the field.

well ppl are wondering where our TE's are and we run an air raid offense now. TE's are useless in the offense.
Do we really run a pure air raid offense tho? I think this is bro style in disguise. Tight formations...2 te's on the field often. Inside zone handoff repeatedly.

we haven't run an air raid all year. we incorporate air raid concepts in our pass game but were more spread than anything

If you watched Dawson today you would know that’s on TVD. Canesville straight up asked him is going to X by design? He basically said it in a nice way dude ain’t about the Bs straight shooter.

TE is a blocker or decoy now. Especially when your QB has tunnel vision.

Don't be the least bit surprised if both Arroyo and Skinner are gone after this year. I've already heard rumblings.

And forget about locking down any elite pass catching TEs moving forward.
