This conference has no sense of urgency. They're apparently failing to recognize that this battle is crucial for the larger war. Apparently, they aren't interested in fighting.Do what Oregon and Washington did. Beg the B1G or SEC to take us. Tell them we’ll talk a reduced cut in revenue for the first 5 years or whatever. You have to try. The ACC is a dead conference.
Agree that the ACC dropped the ball with the ND situation. So, put ourselves at a huge competitive disadvantage in the hopes that we get in? I wouldn't be shocked to find out there's a gentleman's agreement between the two conferences in to not add anyone else, causing the only schools capable of challenging their supremacy to die on the vine. Miami, Clemson, FSU(if they ever get their crap together), are really the only schools left outside looking in that have any actual ability to ruin the party. ND is already on the inside, despite being independent, because they are Notre Dame and the ACC dropped the ball by not forcing them to join as an all sports member...
You can both call out the bull**** going on outside of the building and the AD not doing nearly enough from two states away at the same time. They are not mutually exclusive. Most on this thread are doing just that. This fanbase lives to attack our own staff, but will say absolutely NOTHING about the obvious BS going on outside the building. Mario called it out in his postgame comments, it's been called out by the **** ACC, what more can Rad do? We don't know what he is or isn't doing, and to be honest, it's not like him screaming "This is bull****" is going to matter, considering that he isn't in the CFP committee room.
Right. So what makes you think this Tuesday will be any different? She's one voice. That voice gets drowned out when you have a bunch of SEC jocksniffers and ESPN(the major media partner) ignoring everything outside of "SEC good, F everyone else"....
Oh, that’ll do it. Hand the information to one committee member. Whew, we are good. The AD needs to publicly step up and drive the message home. If we aren’t willing to play the public game we can’t blame the committee when they hammer us.Who's going to make me, you? Ooh, I'm shaking because some fake internet tough guy wants to look big and bad on a message board...Dumbass fans always look for someone at the University to blame, instead of looking squarely at the people that should be held accountable: The CFP committee.
Carla Williams likely has the same information all of us has, I'm willing to bet that the ACC already put that information in her hands, knowing full well that it will cost the conference MILLIONS if Miami doesn't get in. I'm also willing to bet that this tiebreaker situation gets fixed as well(although it should have been addressed the MOMENT the conference expanded and divisional play was eliminated), for the same exact reason.
We have one ACC rep in the committee room. Someone in our athletic department or conference needs to make it easy for them.
Make them a giant poster board showing…
- how ND and Miami are separated by less than 2 spots on every single computer metric.
- Miami over ND score.
- Score of every game with common opponents where we outdid the Irish — NC State, Pitt, Stanford.
- Nick Saban’s quote that this is the most dangerous team in CFB that no one wants to play.
- When resumes are identical, you have to honor head to head.
Have them display it in front of the committee and dare them to put ND over us.

Well, well, well….
