The new College Football 27 video game releases in nine days, and the EA Sports crew is starting to reveal more about the game as it gets closer to its release date.

Today, the crew released the top-10 overall teams in each category: offense, defense, overall. EA Sports listed the Hurricanes as a 88 overall, 90 offense, and 86 defense.



Miami added quarterback Darian Mensah, who is expected to be one of the most highest-rated quarterbacks in the video game. The Hurricanes retained their entire running back room from this past season and returned Malachi Toney, who is on the cover of the video game.

On the defensive side of the ball, Miami took a hit on the defensive line by losing Akheem Mesidor and Rueben Bain. However, Mario Cristobal did a great job in the portal by grabbing Damon Wilson from the SEC while also returning solid production on the defensive line.

Look man, you can talk all you want about talent and the most impressive roster, all I know is Miami, with an "inferior" roster to all those teams, played like a team comprised of convicts playing prison guards and Oregon/Notre Dame played like teams that think they should be handed a championship. Notre Dame literally thought they should be handed a playoff spot over a team that beat them. Oregon looked like Syracuse against Indiana.

We saw it for decades here at Miami, talent means absolutely nothing if the culture isn't right. If this Miami team plays with the same attitude as last years then they're going 16-0 and nobody is stopping them.
