The new College Football 27 video game releases in nine days, and the EA Sports crew is starting to reveal more about the game as it gets closer to its release date.
Today, the crew released the top-10 overall teams in each category: offense, defense, and the full overall. EA Sports listed the Hurricanes as a 88 overall, 90 offense, and 86 defense.
Miami added quarterback Darian Mensah, who is expected to be one of the most highest-rated quarterbacks in the video game. The Hurricanes retained their entire running back room from this past season and returned Malachi Toney, who is on the cover of the video game.
On the defensive side of the ball, Miami took a hit on the defensive line by losing Akheem Mesidor and Rueben Bain. However, Mario Cristobal did a great job in the portal by grabbing Damon Wilson from the SEC while also returning solid production on the defensive line. Miami is expecting to have one of the best defenses in the ACC, especially under defensive coordinator Corey Hetherman.
